
NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships 2016: Results and Twitter Reaction
The final day of the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships showed off some of the best young athletes in the country. A whole lot of hardware was given out in the process as champions emerged in 17 events on the men's and women's sides.

The Oregon Ducks continued their dominance on the indoor track and field circuit with a clean sweep as both the men's and women's teams won the national championship Saturday night.

It was the third straight title for the men and the sixth championship in seven years for the women's squad.
The Ducks saw three individual winners Saturday. Edward Cheserek won the 3,000 meters, while Devon Allen won the 60-meter hurdles.

Allen's name might sound familiar because he is also a wide receiver on Oregon's football team.
On the women's side, Raevyn Rogers took home the crown in the 800 meters. Oregon T&F showed her finish:
Also on the individual front, Wisconsin's Zach Ziemek won the men's heptathlon, which spanned Friday and Saturday. Here is Ziemek's point distribution over the seven events:

But in the team aspect, Oregon has become the gold standard of the sport by dominating for years. And the success of both the men's and women's teams will likely continue to bring in the best track and field talent the nation has to offer.
