Premier League Table: Week 27 Standings, Weekend Recap After Sunday's Scores
Tottenham Hotspur pulled off a remarkable resurrection on Sunday after coming back from a goal down to defeat Swansea City 2-1, while north London rivals Arsenal lost 3-2 at Manchester United.
Alberto Paloschi scored his first goal for Swansea since completing a January move to the Liberty Stadium, but Nacer Chadli and Danny Rose struck back to seal all three points for Mauricio Pochettino's side.
Marcus Rashford netted twice in the space of three minutes to put United ahead against Arsenal, before former Red Devil Danny Welbeck hit back against his old club at Old Trafford. Mesut Ozil responded after Ander Herrera added a third for the hosts, but Louis van Gaal's men did enough to take maximum points.

Recap
Both north London giants endured slow starts on Sunday, and a 19th-minute opener from former Chievo frontman Paloschi set Swansea on their way to what would have been a dramatic upset at White Hart Lane.
But Spurs gathered their thoughts in the second half and converted two in eight minutes to seal their comeback triumph, although Opta's Orbinho confirmed this wasn't their first time returning from a deficit this season:
Substitute Chadli took just seven minutes to get Spurs level after coming off the bench, and Rose collected a corner at the edge of the box before drilling home his winner 13 minutes from the full-time whistle.
Pochettino's side will have been even more overjoyed to hear of Arsenal's defeat at Old Trafford, and KICK TV illustrated the frustration of Gunners fans following a nightmarish weekend of results:
Tottenham still boast the best defence in the Premier League this term after conceding 21 goals in 27 games, and Sunday's win showed a great deal of character as they look to upset Leicester's run at the title.
That being said, the result will also have sent a warning shot to Spurs, reminding them it's at this stage of the season that every team presents a threat, even those lower down the table who are now fighting for their very top-flight survival.
Meanwhile, Rashford was the hero for the Red Devils once again after putting two past the Gunners to bring his senior Manchester United record up to four goals in just two outings.
The 18-year-old scored a brace on his debut during the Europa League win over FC Midtjylland last Thursday, and Match of the Day's Gary Lineker described his shock to see the youngster dazzle again at Old Trafford:
Arsene Wenger's visitors got back on the board through Welbeck and Ozil, but it proved to be too little, too late, as Herrera's deflected effort in the 65th minute eventually proved the difference between the two.
There was also drama on the sidelines when United manager Louis van Gaal fell to the floor in front of fourth official Mike Dean to insinuate Alexis Sanchez had dived, and Squawka provided a look at the Dutchman's bizarre reaction:
Ridiculous though that incident was, Van Gaal ultimately came out beaming as his men moved back up to fifth in the table, while Arsenal now lie three points adrift of rival Spurs and five points from leaders Leicester.
Claudio Ranieri's side ran things close in their 1-0 win over the Canaries on Saturday, and it was only thanks to an 89th-minute winner from substitute Leonardo Ulloa that they were able to clinch a priceless three points.
Meanwhile, Guus Hiddink's unbeaten domestic run as interim Chelsea manager continued, after goals from Cesc Fabregas and Branislav Ivanovic led them to a 2-1 win at Southampton.
Shane Long put the Saints ahead, but the Blues turned the scoreline around to continue their upturn in form and move up to 11th, now sitting just seven points away from the top six. Midfielder Oscar, one of those returned to form in recent months, told Sky Sports of the improved atmosphere at Stamford Bridge (h/t Goal.com's Jamie Smith):
"Because we have started to win the games, the confidence comes now. When you lose a lot of games, like at the start of the season, we don't have confidence. Now we play well, we start to win the games and every player has a lot of confidence. It's difficult because every season we play to win the titles and now we try to go up the table.
I think everyone is very happy because today is a difficult game and we don't start the game well. Southampton scored the first goal but we come to the second half and play well and score two goals.
We have to control the game and [we made] one mistake, but you need to come to the second half and try to win the game. We had a little bit of luck but we played well and we deserved this.
"
Stoke City clinched a 2-1 win of their own against Aston Villa after Marko Arnautovic's five-minute brace helped the Potters seal back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time since December. Leandro Bacuna added a late consolation for the Villans.
The misery continued for basement outfit Villa, who remain eight points adrift of safety and are failing to show much sign of attacking fervour under Remi Garde, BT Sport's Richard Jolly outlined:
While their campaign seems destined for relegation, top-flight new boys Watford and Bournemouth cancelled one another out at Vicarage Road en route to a bore draw.
The same couldn't be said for West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace, though, as the Baggies came out on top of a five-goal thriller at the Hawthorns, triumphing 3-2 despite Connor Wickham's brace for the visitors.
Craig Gardner, Craig Dawson and Saido Berahino put Tony Pulis' men 3-0 up on the 31-minute mark, and Alan Pardew's Eagles succumbed to a sixth defeat in their last nine outings.
Earlier on Saturday, West Ham United beat Sunderland 1-0 thanks to Michail Antonio's sole strike at Upton Park, keeping the Hammers within range of a potential European finish.
