UEFA Youth League Results 2015-16: Tuesday Scores, Recap After Round-of-16 Games
Valencia were kicked out of the 2015-16 UEFA Youth League on Tuesday after falling to Chelsea on penalties, as the referee failed to award Los Che a goal despite the ball obviously crossing the line.
The two teams drew 1-1 in normal time, but Valencia came off second-best in the shootout. Spanish newspaper AS described the "poor refereeing" that led to the shock decision:

Borja Mayoral netted a brace for Real Madrid as they romped to a 3-1 win over 10-man Manchester City, who were unable to follow the example of English compatriots Chelsea and fell out of the running.
Ten-man Barcelona became the first team to advance through to the quarter-finals after they defeated FC Midtjylland 3-1 on Tuesday.
Both teams finished the fixture with 10 players, and it was Barca duo Lee Seung-woo and Carles Alena who spared their side's blushes with a pair of injury-time goals to seal their place in the next round.

Valencia were aggrieved to exit the tournament after Alberto Gil appeared to convert his attempted spot-kick, only for referee Adrien Jaccottet to judge his effort had not crossed the line. First-team manager Gary Neville took to Twitter to vent his frustration:
BeIN Sports provided images of the penalty in question:
Jay Dasilva put the Blues ahead in normal time before a Carlos Soler penalty drew Valencia level, and it was Tammy Abraham who slotted home the final, decisive spot-kick to book Chelsea's place in the quarters.
The English outfit will face either Lyon or Ajax in the last eight, but we're unlikely to have heard the last of a controversial Youth League moment that has undoubtedly left Valencia fans baying for some form of appeal.

Later on Tuesday, Real Madrid saw Manchester City out of the Youth League with a 3-1 win in the Spanish capital, where two first-half strikes from Mayoral set the hosts on their way to a convincing win.
Real Madrid TV presenter Phil Kitromilides praised the second of Mayoral's goals in particular, as the 18-year-old scythed his way through for a spectacular individual effort:
Despite his two goals, however, Mayoral wasn't the leading man, according to beIN Sports writer David Cartlidge, who picked out Aleix Febas as the prime puppeteer:
Benfica and Czech outfit Pribram don't face off until Wednesday, with the victor of that match set to face Los Merengues in the Youth League quarter-finals.
Although the final scoreline certainly suggested otherwise, Barcelona were far from perfect in their 3-1 win over FC Midtjylland on Tuesday, where two late, late goals from Lee and Alena guided them into the last eight.
South Korean starlet Lee has been likened to Barcelona icon Lionel Messi, and he lifted a heavy weight from his shoulders by ghosting through to score his first goal for the club since their registration ban was lifted in January.
The Spanish contenders got off to a rough start after defender Eric Montes directed a cross into his own net, meaning Barca trailed at the break by 1-0—hardly the start they wanted.

The second period brought a revitalised response, though, and Theo Chendri equalised six minutes after the restart. That came before Andreas Murbeck was sent off for the travelling Danes, and Montes received a second yellow, reducing both teams to 10 men.
Lee beat Midtjylland's offside trap to put Barca ahead in the 90th minute before Alena doubled their lead to put the result beyond any shade of doubt. Barcelona's young guns will face Dinamo Zagreb in the quarter-finals after the Croatians clinched a 2-0 win at Anderlecht later on Tuesday.
Amer Gojak and Josip Brekalo scored in the 47th and 57th minutes, respectively, to notch a convincing win for Dinamo, who will host Barca on either Match 8 or 9.
