Weather:  A thunderstorm is always a threat this time of year in Johannesburg, and Sunday will be no different. Temperatures will climb up to 28 degrees Celsius, but a storm early in the afternoon could cool things down, according to AccuWeather.com.

Overview

South Africa and England both made hard work of the first T20. Both teams lost their way with the bat, and both had some pretty dire bowling coupled with decent spells here and there.

A match that should have been finished off easily went down to the final ball, and even then Reece Topley fluffed the run-out chance that would have taken the match to a Super Over.

If T20 needed a "good advert," this would certainly not have been it. Luckily, in the world of hit-and-giggle cricket, things move along swiftly. South Africa aren’t likely to tinker too much with the combination they had on Friday, and with Quinton de Kock being rested as a precautionary measure, AB de Villiers is likely to keep his spot at the top of the order.

This is, after all, the time for experimenting as the World T20 nears, and finding the right combinations is all part of the preparation for the main draw.

The good news is that South Africa cannot lose the series—a safety net that might take just a little bit of pressure off the batsmen. That pressure, perceived or real, certainly got to South Africa on Friday night with some irrational shot selection, most often the sweep off the spinner, leading to many unnecessary dismissals.

On the Highveld, though, spin should not be a problem. South Africa’s T20 record at the Wanderers is decent—having won 10 out of 14 here—and with this fixture being a day game, there is no need to worry about things like dew making it difficult to defend.

The mandate will be clear: get as many runs as possible on the board if batting first and bowl as cunningly as possible if not.

Key players

South Africa

Under two pressure situations, albeit in two different formats, Chris Morris has shown he has got some serious bottle with the bat. While his bowling still needs some work, Morris should be more at home on the Highveld and on a ground where he plied his trade for many years before moving across the Juksei to the Titans.

England

If South Africa's approach to playing spin at Newlands was anything to go by, Adil Rashid could be a real handful. He had a decent economy rate on Friday—the third-lowest (6.00) of all England bowlers—and even if spinners don't really play a big role up here, South Africa seem to engineer a way to make spin a factor.

Squads

South Africa: Hashim Amla, David Miller, AB de Villiers, Faf du Plessis, Jean-Paul Duminy, Kyle Abbott, Farhaan Behardien, Rilee Rossouw, Kagiso Rabada, Imran Tahir, Quinton de Kock, Chris Morris, David Wiese, Dale Steyn, Aaron Phangiso

England: Joe Root, Alex Hales, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Moeen Ali, Reece Topley, David Willey, Jason Roy, Adil Rashid, Chris Woakes, Chris Jordan, Eoin Morgan, Liam Plunkett, James Vince, Sam Billings
