Twitter Reacts to Court of Arbitration for Sport Ruling on Essendon Doping Case
The Court of Arbitration for Sport has today ruled that 34 past and present Essendon players will be suspended for all of the 2016 season for an illegal doping regimen at the club during the 2012 season.
The doping scandal has progressed through court cases, appeals, fines and bans before Monday's final denouement.
The AFL world went into meltdown as rumours began to trickle out that a 12-month ban had been handed down.
