Indian Schoolboy Hits 1,009*, Highest-Ever Individual Score in a Recorded Match
An Indian schoolboy has made history by smashing an astonishing 1,009 not out for KC Gandhi School in Mumbai.
Pranav Dhanawade's unprecedented knock came off just 323 balls and is the highest-ever individual score made in a recorded match, comfortably surpassing the 628 made by Englishman AEJ Collins in 1899.

The 15-year-old hit 59 sixes and 127 fours as the school declared on 1,465-2 in their Bhandari Trophy match against Arya Gurukul School.
Speaking at the end of Day 1, Dhanawade had expressed his ambition to reach four figures:
"Why not? I am confident that I can do it," he told DNA India (via Fox Sports). "I will definitely try to score 1,000 runs as I am just 350 away. If I can score 600 runs in two sessions, I am confident of scoring 350 in one session."
That's a record that will take some beating.
