Duzey Out for Rose Bowl

According to Chad Leistikow of the Des Moines Register, Duzey will miss the team's bowl game against Stanford.
Duzey didn't register a catch in nine games this season, recovering from a ruptured patellar tendon he suffered during spring practices. He caught 36 passes for 392 yards and three touchdowns for the team last year.
Duzey's injury didn't heal as quickly as expected, however, limiting his effectiveness this season. He acknowledged last week that his original timetable for recovery—he expected to full speed by October—was "a little ambitious," per Mitch Sherman of ESPN.
In his absence, Henry Krieger Coble and George Kittle have combined to notch 52 catches for 675 yards and seven touchdowns. And Duzey's teammates and coaches continue to praise him.
"I have nothing but respect for him," Iowa guard Sean Welsh told Sherman on Dec. 23. "He's been a great leader regardless of his circumstances. He's been completely selfless."
For the senior, the Rose Bowl was going to be the last game of his college career. Now, he'll look to recover from his knee woes and look to pick up with an NFL team, likely as an undrafted free agent this spring.
