Multiple Lehigh Football Players Charged with Criminal Trespass
Six Lehigh University football players are facing criminal charges after breaking into an off-campus home on Nov. 8.
According to Pamela Lehman of the Morning Call, the intrusion was meant as retribution for an alleged attack on a fraternity president; however, the Lehigh players entered the wrong residence.
Wide receiver Dylan Parsons, defensive backs Maxwell Frankel and Michael D. Gies and linebackers Noah Robb, Jacob Scott and Mark D. Walker were all charged with felony criminal trespass on Wednesday.
All six players are free on bail, including Parsons, who is accused of urinating in the victims' refrigerator.
In addition to those players, defensive back Brian Githens was previously charged with burglary, simple assault and criminal mischief after allegedly punching one of the victims multiple times, causing a concussion and a busted lip.
Of the seven players allegedly involved in the situation, five admitted to taking part, while Walker and Parsons opted against commenting, per Lehman.
Lehigh's 2015 football season is over, as the Mountain Hawks went 6-5, including a 4-2 conference record in the Patriot League.
The university has yet to release a statement regarding what type of punishment the players may ultimately face for the incident.
