Chris Johnson Injury: Updates on Baylor QB's Concussion and Return
Baylor's quarterback woes this season continued in Saturday's regular-season finale against Texas, with sophomore Chris Johnson leaving the field after taking a hard hit in the first quarter.

Johnson Won't Return vs. Texas
Saturday, Dec. 5
According to Brice Cherry of the Waco Tribune-Herald, citing a Baylor official, Johnson has been ruled out for the remainder of the game against Texas with concussion-like symptoms.
Baylor's once-promising season is turning into a disaster, with two losses in its previous three games. The biggest reason for the Bears' woes is being unable to keep quarterbacks healthy.
Johnson entered the year as the No. 3 quarterback for head coach Art Briles. Seth Russell, who started the first seven games, underwent season-ending neck surgery in October. Backup Jarrett Stidham suffered a broken ankle and fibula in a 45-35 win against Oklahoma State.
With Johnson also out, Baylor was forced to use former high school quarterback and current wide receiver Lynx Hawthorne under center.
Briles' strength as a coach is on offense, but there's only so much anyone can do when three quarterbacks are lost to injuries. The Bears certainly haven't given up on the season, which is a testament to how well-coached and disciplined they are.
