Tottenham's unbeaten run of 11 consecutive Premier League matches faces a stern examination over the next eight days.

The visit of Chelsea on November 29 will be a crucial fixture for both clubs, but before that Spurs must deal with another London derby.

West Ham's surprising survival in the top six through the opening four months of the season suggests that they too will prove a tough opposition.

Hammers fans have seen 19 more goals in than Spurs in their campaign so far.

Slaven Bilic's team have been outscored by only Manchester City and fellow surprise side Leicester City.

Spurs have the second-best defence in the division, but the Hammers will test them more than most.

Player to Watch per Side

While Spurs dominated Arsenal in the derby, the home side were able to produce numerous chances by pumping the ball into the box. Andy Carroll has put in several dominant performances against Spurs in the past. This combination suggests West Ham's best option will be to feed the big striker early and often.

Harry Kane is back to his prolific best in recent weeks. It is he who makes Spurs more than the sum of their parts, and it is vital that he puts in another strong performance if they are to extend their unbeaten form.

Key Battle

Spurs have dominated in midfield in virtually every match this season. Now they face a midfield that can match them physically.

Kouyate and Noble are a strong enough combination to genuinely test the Alli-Dier pairing. Both duos form the foundation of their team's attack and defence.

Whichever can get the upper hand in this fixture will set their side on the road to victory.

Odds

Spurs are big favourites in this match, but West Ham have a strong recent record against them and a history of performing well against the bigger teams away from home.

This season they've already beaten Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City away from Upton Park and could do the same again at White Hart Lane.

The visitors are available as 5/1 outsiders in this fixture, according to Odds Shark. That is far too long for a clash that should be a tight one.

Backing the visitors would be a bold move, but the odds being offered are tough to ignore.
