Michael Carrick and Man Utd Squad Help Fulfill Dying Wish of Terminally Ill Fan
Michael Carrick and his Manchester United teammates helped fulfill the dying wish of a terminally ill fan by spending the day with him and his family.
Tom Cooper, 28, suffers from a rare form of cancer that doctors say is incurable. As part of the club's Christmas festivities, he was invited with his wife and two children to Carrington to accomplish his bucket-list dream of meeting some of his Red Devils heroes.

The Mirror report that Cooper and his family were able to meet the whole team before Carrick presented him with a shirt signed by all the players. The midfielder also stayed around for a kick-about and performed "snow angels" with his young daughter:
His wife, Tammy, spoke to the Manchester Evening News:
"(Tom) suffers every day, he has a lot of pain, a lot of tiredness and drowsiness, it’s not nice to see and obviously our two daughters have got to be around it all the time too and it’s hard for them, they’re only five and eight.
So I know that today, making memories with me and the girls, with the team that he loves, I know he’ll be happy.
"
Tom’s story will be featured on MUTV on Thursday, December 3.
