4-Star WR Jermaine Eskridge Reveals Top 10 Schools
For 2018 4-star wide receiver Jermaine Eskridge, the recruiting process is still young. And with that, an early decision now takes a backseat to letting the process take its toll.
Eskridge, the Tampa, Florida, product built more like a college-ready receiver at 6'3" and 180 pounds, announced via Twitter on Tuesday that he has decommitted from Kentucky. He was the Wildcats' lone 2018 commitment.

Wednesday morning, Eskridge announced a top 10—and the list includes some heavyweights. The list was courtesy of Corey Bender of Scout.com.
So now it's time for Eskridge, who committed to Kentucky before the start of his sophomore year at the end of July, to let the process run its course. It's a process expected to have multiple possibilities by the time he's a senior.
Eskridge currently has 23 reported offers from coast to coast, including Ohio State, Michigan and Virginia Tech, as well as in-state schools Florida, Florida State, Miami and South Florida.
Kentucky is still a team to watch, as the program made Eskridge's top 10. Florida, however, could be considered the early front-runner. According to Josh Edwards of 247Sports, Eskridge has made multiple visits to Florida. Eskridge's 247Sports timeline notes he last visited Florida in early October.
Eskridge is listed as a wide receiver, but it's his versatility and ability to play multiple positions that makes him an attractive option. He has lined up at tight end, where he is beside the tackle or lined up wide as a flex. He also is aggressive on defense and could be a reliable defensive end if he bulks up.
Of his top 10 schools, five are ACC programs and three represent the SEC. Ohio State is the lone Big Ten candidate, and South Florida represents the American Athletic Conference. All eyes will be on where the 2018 standout ultimately ends up.
Kentucky fans are hoping he'll recommit and play in Lexington. No timetable has been set on a new commitment.
