NFL Power Rankings Week 10: Latest Outlook and 2015-16 Super Bowl Odds
Here's a sentence that could only make sense to NFL fans: Last weekend's games said quite a lot about the 2015-16 Super Bowl outlook and sometimes nothing at all.
Like, for example, the Carolina Panthers taking down the Green Bay Packers. The former clearly isn't to be trifled with. But at the same time, a Blaine Gabbert-led San Francisco 49ers team upending the Atlanta Falcons doesn't mean much.

Odds Analysis
Minnesota Vikings (20-1)
Those odds aren't a mistake, folks.
Mike Zimmer's Vikings have won four in a row, most recently taking down a pesky St. Louis Rams team in overtime to make it to 6-2—and tied atop the NFC North with the Packers.
On Sunday, Adrian Peterson put the team on his back with 125 yards and a score, while the tough defense held the Rams to 18 points, including just three in the second half.
What the Vikings continue to do isn't pretty, but wins are wins. The team has now won two in a row by just three points, and only one win over the four-game streak has come by more than six points.
But with a quarterback like Teddy Bridgewater, who completes better than 64 percent of his passes, a back like Peterson and a borderline elite defense, these Vikings can go places. Even better, they still get a pair of shots at the Packers this season. At this payout, bettors might want to consider the Vikings.
Indianapolis Colts (25-1)
The Indianapolis Colts are a good example of how quickly situations can change in the NFL.
Andrew Luck and Co. looked like a lost cause going into Week 9, losers of three straight, with the team's wins coming over their rivals in the AFC South, what might be the worst division of all time.
The Colts found a way to turn things around this past weekend, though, welcoming Peyton Manning and the undefeated Denver Broncos to town before sending them packing with a 27-24 loss.
One week after a coaching change on the offensive side of things, Luck threw for 252 yards and a pair of scores against an elite defense. His running game didn't help much (three yards per carry), but his defense picked off two passes.
"That's who we need to be, consistently," Luck said, according to ESPN. "Probably a little bit of soul searching, trying to figure out what we want to be. The truth of the matter is we have the pieces, which is pretty darn obvious."
It's hard to know if the Colts are truly back and can keep playing at this level, but either way, they have a stranglehold on the AFC South at 4-5, with no other team featuring more than three wins. Once in the postseason, as NFL fans know, anything can happen.
Buffalo Bills (100-1)
Just when it looked time to count out the Buffalo Bills, quarterback Tyrod Taylor returned and led the team to a win and back to .500 at 4-4.
It doesn't sound like much, but a recent two-game skid that had everyone shrugging off the Bills came mostly due to an injury to Taylor, who threw for 181 yards and a score and added another 44 yards on the ground in a 33-17 win against the Miami Dolphins to complete the season sweep.
What a difference one player can make, right? Just like that, wideout Sammy Watkins caught eight passes for 168 yards and a score, LeSean McCoy ran 16 times for 112 yards and a score and Karlos Williams added nine rushes for 110 yards and two scores.
The numbers aren't just an indictment of the miserable Dolphins, either. This is the same Buffalo team that lost to the New England Patriots in just 40-32 fashion. If healthy, Taylor and Co. seem to have the juice on both sides of the football to run with any team. They still get the Patriots once again and the New York Jets twice.
With this sort of payout, relying strictly on team record to dictate a bet isn't a good move.
