Maxx Crosby Makes Cryptic Post amid Latest Raiders Trade Rumors
Las Vegas Raiders defensive end and five-time Pro Bowler Maxx Crosby dropped a cryptic post on X on Thursday evening.
It's been an interesting offseason for Crosby, who was traded to the Baltimore Ravens last March only for Baltimore to rescind that deal due to reported concerns with his physical, per ESPN's Jamison Hensley.

Crosby is one of the league's most feared pass-rushers. He's amassed 69.5 sacks, 164 quarterback hits and 439 tackles during his career. Last year, Crosby had 10 sacks, 20 quarterback hits and 73 tackles in 15 starts.
Earlier in June, Crosby told reporters (h/t Mark Anderson of the Associated Press) that the trade was "water under the bridge" and that he was "excited" to be in Las Vegas.
"I don't really want to talk about that, to be honest. It's water under the bridge. It's a long time ago," Crosby said during Raiders' offseason team activities. "I'm here and I want to be here and I'm excited to be here and I've got a lot of work to do. It's water under the bridge."
Crosby added: "I want to be out there and be part of the team. I just love what I do and I love playing football and I love being on the field."
Although Crosby wasn't traded in March, it's conceivable he could be dealt in-season. ESPN's Dan Graziano wrote more on that on June 4, citing Crosby as one of a few "early trade deadline candidates to move."
"I wouldn't expect Crosby trade talk to heat up again until he gets on a field and shows he's healthy. And from everything I've been told, that could be in August or later," Graziano wrote.
"Crosby might stick with the Raiders all year at this point, but if he's going to get traded at all, we're probably looking at something in-season ahead of the deadline. If a team such as the Cowboys, Bills, Bears or Patriots finds itself in contention and in need of an impact pass rusher, things could get interesting here again."
The Raiders' season doesn't start until Sept. 13 at home against the Miami Dolphins (and the trade deadline is Nov. 3), so we're a few months or so out until entertaining the possibility of an in-season trade.
In the meantime, Crosby is getting ready for the season, and the Raiders have started a new chapter with a new head coach (Klint Kubiak) and franchise quarterback (Fernando Mendoza).
