Walcott Yet to Fulfill Potential
Walcott has flashed a lot of talent during his Arsenal career. He netted 21 goals in 43 appearances during the 2012-13 campaign, and it seemed he was just starting to scratch the surface of his potential. Alas, various health issues have prevented him from taking the next step in his career.
The England international has an extensive injury history. The most notable setback was a ruptured ACL in his left knee during the 2013-14 season. Earlier this term, he dealt with a lingering calf problem that caused him to miss time as well.
At 27, there's still time for Walcott to fulfil his potential. Unfortunately, staying off the injury list has been easier said than done for him in recent years, and his spot at the summer championships now looks set to be under threat.
