Premier League Week 11 Fixtures: EPL TV Schedule, Live Stream and Picks
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will be seeking to deliver another devastating blow to Jose Mourinho and his Chelsea players, with the bitter rivals poised to square off at Stamford Bridge this weekend in what should be an absorbing Premier League fixture.
Chelsea showcased extremely poor discipline during their loss against West Ham United last time out, a game in which they were administered with seven bookings and Mourinho was banished to the stands. Another loss against their enemies from Merseyside would plunge the Blues even deeper into crisis.
Elsewhere, league leaders Manchester City host Norwich City at the Etihad Stadium, while their nearest challengers, Arsenal and Manchester United, face difficult away fixtures at Swansea City and Crystal Palace, respectively.

Chelsea vs. Liverpool

There doesn’t seem to be any end in sight to Chelsea’s miserable beginning to the season, as the Blues head into this game on the back of two successive defeats.
The first was the aforementioned 2-1 loss at West Ham, a game in which the Blues represented little short of a rabble. During the half-time interval, it has been reported Mourinho refused to leave the match official’s room, and given the conduct of the manager, it’s little surprise the players are performing in such fashion.

As Bleacher Report UK alluded to here, Mourinho is beginning to run out of excuses for his side’s poor displays:
Liverpool are just three points ahead of Chelsea coming into this weekend’s match, having had a difficult beginning to the season themselves. However, Klopp seems to have got the team organised, working hard off the ball and has the fans rejuvenated, so they’re likely to travel down to the capital in buoyant mood.

They’ll do so on the back of a win as well. The League Cup triumph over Bournemouth was the German’s first victory as boss, a game in which a lot of young players were impressive for the Reds. Perhaps most encouragingly of all, marquee summer capture Roberto Firmino turned in his best performance in the iconic all-red jersey.
Carl Markham of the Press Association thinks his midweek display may have been enough for the Brazilian to force his way into Klopp’s plans for Stamford Bridge:
While it’s early stages, the Reds seem to be everything Chelsea are not at the moment in that they’re hungry to improve, united behind their manager and ready to leave everything out on the pitch. The Blues will surely raise their levels for the visit of Liverpool, but it won’t be enough to prevent the visitors taking a narrow win.
Prediction: Chelsea 1-2 Liverpool
Swansea City vs. Arsenal

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will be hoping his players can put their disappointing League Cup loss to Sheffield Wednesday behind them this weekend but will know it’ll be tough against a Swansea City side who seem to thrive up against the Gunners.
Indeed, Garry Monk’s men did the double over the Emirates Stadium outfit last season, winning this fixture 2-1 in dramatic style. This season has been an odd one for the Swans so far, starting well before struggling for form in recent weeks, but there were some positive signs against Aston Villa, a game in which they emerged with a much-needed three points.

Arsenal have plenty of attacking talent to be feared, though, even with Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott out injured. Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil have both been in tremendous form as of late, and the Gunners will be desperate to keep pace with league leaders Manchester City, who should pick up three points at home.
Another player the Welsh side will need to keep close tabs on is Olivier Giroud who, despite not featuring as often as usual from the start, is in great goalscoring form. As noted by Matt Spiro of beIN Sports, the Frenchman has been battling hard to secure a spot back in the starting XI:
This match will be a big test of Arsenal’s title credentials. With a clash with Bayern Munich to come next week and players sidelined with injury, the Gunners are a little stretched at the moment. Swansea will be confident after their recent results against the Londoners and will do enough to snatch a point in an entertaining affair.
Prediction: Swansea 2-2 Arsenal
