EPL Table: 2015 Week 10 Top Scorers After Sunday's Premier League Scores
Week 10 of the Premier League wasn’t exactly a goal fest, but there was plenty of interesting movement in the top scorer stakes, including Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy reaching double figures for the campaign.
The England front man notched his 10th goal in as many games to hand the Foxes all three points against Crystal Palace on Saturday, while another English striker found his scoring touch on Sunday.
Harry Kane grabbed his second, third and fourth strikes of 2015/16, with his classy hat-trick helping Tottenham Hotspur on their way to a 5-1 thrashing of Bournemouth.

Fox in the Box at It Again

Vardy can’t stop scoring at the moment. The man who was playing non-league football just four seasons ago now finds himself at the top of the Premier League scoring charts—and deservedly so, too.
The Englishman’s exemplary performances have been the catalyst behind Leicester’s explosive start to the season, and his winner against Crystal Palace on Saturday just about summed that up.
Fellow prolific Fox Riyad Mahrez played in Vardy, who showed remarkable composure to lift the ball over the onrushing Wayne Hennessey before slotting home.
That goal saw the 28-year-old become only the eighth player to score in seven consecutive matches in Premier League history, joining an elite list in the process—as beIN Sports’ Kay Murray revealed:
Murray isn’t the only person who’s impressed by Vardy’s exploits, as Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri was quick to sing his striker’s praises after the match—reported by Ryan Benson of Goal.com:
"It is a big achievement for him, a big achievement for us, for everybody. It is also big for our fans, who will enjoy that a lot. It is difficult to say why it [such goal-scoring streaks] happens sometimes. But often there is a reason for a record. It is good, he is in great form, he believes that.
It is important now but it is important later that if he doesn't score, he remains calm and continues to fight as he did. He believes every ball can be good. Every ball could suddenly create something good. It's important for him, important for all his team-mates and is dangerous for opponents.
"

Former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy set the benchmark for goals in consecutive games with 10 back in 2003, but the way Vardy’s going means the Dutchman may well be looking over his shoulder.
Elsewhere, early season Swansea City hero Andre Ayew got his name back on the scoresheet in Week 10, with his late strike against Aston Villa taking him to five for the season.

The Ghanaian swept the ball home after good work from Kyle Naughton to earn the Swans all three points and end a streak of five games without a win.
And despite Ayew’s match-winning brilliance, he remained grounded after the game and vowed to improve—per BBC Sport:
“I believe if I continue to work hard I can do much more. It's about getting to know the league better, getting to know my players better. They are helping me with that and giving me the confidence. I'm sure with time I can even get better.”

A player who is seemingly getting better every week is Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud, who was back at the goals again on Saturday.
The Frenchman nodded the Gunners in front in their 2-1 win over Everton on Saturday—his third goal of the week after strikes against Watford and Bayern Munich.
Giroud now sits on five goals for the season and just one behind fellow Gunner Alexis Sanchez, who failed to find the net for the first time in three games against the Toffees.

Kane then made it a great weekend for north London strikers, with his hat-trick at Bournemouth taking him to four goals for the campaign.
The Englishman has shown promise throughout the season but just hasn’t been able to put the ball in the back of the net.
That all changed at the Vitality Stadium, however, and ex-England striker Gary Lineker said the performance was just Kane getting back to normal:
Kane scored 21 Premier League goals in the 2014/15 season, and although he still has some way to go to better that haul, he’s heading in the right direction.
Can he, or anyone, catch Vardy at the top of the scoring charts, though? Sergio Aguero’s injury means the Englishman could pull further clear over the coming weeks and underline his credentials for the Golden Boot.
And the way the Leicester man is playing right now, you’d be brave to bet against him doing exactly that.
