Minnows Villanovense were only formed in 1992, the same year that Barcelona's Brazilian superstar Neymar was born.

It is difficult to predict anything other than a hugely convincing aggregate victory for Barca in their first tie of this year's Copa, but Villanovense will likely be delighted to have drawn such high-profile opponents.

The first leg of Barca's tie will be played later this month because of the Catalan giants' December commitments at the Club World Cup, per barcastuff:

Per AS, the full complement of other fixtures will be played out on December 2 and December 16, with the draw for the last-16 stage then taking place on December 18:

The last time Real met Cadiz was back in the 2005-2006 campaign when the Andalusian outfit were plying their trade in the Spanish top flight.

Again, Real will be expected to claim a convincing victory against the third-tier side, although Cadiz did narrowly miss out on promotion last season after losing in the play-offs to Oviedo.

Atleti face a familiar trip to Catalonia at this stage of the competition as they play Reus Deportiu, having drawn Sant Andreu and L'Hospitalet in the fourth round in 2014 and 2013.

As Spanish football writer David Cartlidge notes, Athletic Bilbao face a trip to one of the more picturesque stadiums in Spain for a leg of their tie against Linense:

By design, all six of the La Liga sides in European competition this season have been drawn against the Segunda B clubs remaining in the Copa del Rey.

Thus, the chances of an upset for one of the high-profile teams is highly unlikely. However, the draw has thrown up some intriguing clashes, and it is hard to be sure which 16 teams will still be standing at the next stage of the tournament.
