Lithuania vs. England: Score and Reaction from Euro 2016 Qualifier
England completed their qualification campaign for UEFA Euro 2016 with their 100 per cent record intact as they saw off hosts Lithuania 3-0 at the Zalgiris Stadium.
Ross Barkley and an unfortunate own goal from Lithuanian goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis gave England a comfortable 2-0 lead in the first half. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain rounded out the scoring in the second half.
The match typified England's route to the tournament as they dominated the possession and the chances, while the hosts offered little in return in a one-sided contest that wouldn't have looked out of place on the training ground.

Everton's Phil Jagielka captained the Three Lions in a much-changed side that also saw Jamie Vardy, Jonjo Shelvey and Jack Butland start.

Harry Kane stood out for the visitors as he hungrily searched for his fourth goal on his sixth England appearance. The Tottenham Hotspur man shot at every opportunity and tested Arlauskis with several well-struck efforts in the first 25 minutes, and he turned provider for England's first.
Barkley controlled a pass from Kane 25 yards out and sent his shot soaring in off the left-hand post via a helpful deflection.
England legend Gary Lineker took the opportunity to praise the Everton youngster:
Kane thought he'd scored himself shortly after, but the goal was correctly attributed to Arlauskis.

A one-two with Adam Lallana set the striker free in the area on the left, but his effort cannoned off the near post and in off the goalkeeper's back.
England have now benefited from as many own goals as they have strikes from all-time goalscorer Wayne Rooney, per Opta Joe:
Sports writer Glenn Moore handily summarised the proceedings in the first half and indeed the entire match:
The visitors came close to making it three shortly after the restart as Kane had two efforts cleared off the line in quick succession, before Arlauskis made an excellent save to deny Barkley from the resulting corner.
A third was inevitable, though, and Oxlade-Chamberlain grabbed his first of the qualification campaign just after the hour mark. Kyle Walker found the midfielder on the inside-right channel, and Oxlade-Chamberlain made no mistake as he smashed in from close range.

Lithuania continued to offer little going forward in a tedious second half, which lacked any real urgency with the win already assured for the visitors.
England are just the sixth team to qualify for the European Championship finals with a 100 per cent winning record, the first time the Three Lions have done so, according to Simon Peach of the Press Association.
However, manager Roy Hodgson will have learned little from their 10 wins.
Far better opposition await the Three Lions at Euro 2016, so the arranged friendlies against France, Spain and Germany in the lead up to the tournament will be crucial to England's preparation.
Post-Match Reaction
According to the Daily Telegraph's Matt Law, Lithuania boss Igoris Pankratjevas got straight to the point his post-match press conference:
Per BBC Sport's Tom Rostance, Hodgson was delighted with team both on the night and throughout qualifying:
"This is an achievement. I am very proud of the players' performances. I thought it was excellent, in the first half especially. There was a lot of hard work put in, the quality of play was good and 10 wins out of 10 is very satisfying—we've got to take a lot of pride in that.
"
He added: "The players who represented us tonight did a terrific job and they have got to feel they have strengthened their chances if being considered for France."
