NFL Scores Week 4: Results, Standings and Top Fantasy Stars from AFC, NFC Games
The NFL's Week 4 Sunday slate got off to a bright and early start with two teams playing in England in the first of three NFL International Series games scheduled for this season.
The New York Jets beat the Miami Dolphins, 27-14, at Wembley Stadium in London. The game was not nearly as close as the scoreline indicates. The Miami Herald's Ethan Skolnick noted the Fins have started games poorly under coach Joe Philbin:
Speaking of coaches on the hot seat, Chip Kelly could be feeling the pressure after the Washington Redskins beat his Philadelphia Eagles, 23-20, on a late fourth-quarter comeback drive. After coming into the season with so much promise, the Eagles are 1-3 on the season, last in the NFC East.
The Oakland Raiders couldn't pull off a victory even though they were favored to win for the first time in nearly two years. They fell to the Chicago Bears, 22-20, at Soldier Field on a last-second field goal by Robbie Gould. Perhaps there isn't a Raiders renaissance in the Bay Area.
There was, of course, the regular mashup of fantasy stars, sleepers and busts. Never a week goes by without some surprises on the fantasy front in the NFL.

Notable Performances from Early Games
Devonta Freeman, RB, Atlanta Falcons
Devonta Freeman burst onto the fantasy scene with 141 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns in a Week 3 win over the Dallas Cowboys. He wasn't quite as prolific against Houston, racking up 68 yards and another three touchdowns. I'm sure the Atlanta staff won't mind the slight drop-off.
Watch him practically float up the middle on this 23-yard touchdown run, via the NFL:
Bleacher Report's Matt Miller complimented his running style:
Freeman became the first running back to notch back-to-back games with three rushing touchdowns since the great LaDainian Tomlinson pulled off the feat in 2006, per ESPN Stats & Info. Freeman probably won't pick up the 28 rushing touchdowns that LT racked up that season, but seven scores in four games is pretty good for a guy who started the year as the backup tailback to rookie Tevin Coleman.
The passing game is doing just fine with Matt Ryan at the helm and Julio Jones wreaking havoc on the flank. Atlanta's defense is much improved over last year, and the team is 4-0 as a result. With Freeman proving to be a capable every-down back, the NFC South looks like it will belong to either Atlanta or Carolina, another surprisingly undefeated squad after four weeks.
Jeremy Hill, RB, Cincinnati Bengals

Talk about efficiency. All Jeremy Hill needed was nine carries to rack up three touchdowns in the Bengals' 36-21 win over Kansas City on Sunday. All three were of the rumbling red-zone variety, on carries of eight, five and one yards.
After scoring twice in the Bengals' opening game, Hill managed just 60 rushing yards with no scores in the following two games. This certainly upset fantasy owners, not that this mattered to the second-year back, per the Cincinnati Enquirer's Paul Dehner Jr.:
It's been something of a seesaw battle for the lead back role in Cincinnati through the first four weeks of the regular season. Giovani Bernard has seen more carries in each of the past three weeks and managed to get a touchdown of his own in the midst of Hill's scoring outburst.
It's going to be exceedingly tough to suss out how well Hill and Bernard might perform on a week-to-week basis. It's a problem compounded by the fact that the Bengals are enjoying a superlative season from quarterback Andy Dalton, so they don't necessarily have to rely on the running game. Unless the carries really dry up, Hill is still an RB2 at worst.
Sam Bradford, QB, Philadelphia Eagles

In another frustrating, demoralizing performance for Philly, quarterback Sam Bradford finally paid dividends for the likely few fantasy owners still trusting him at this point. Under extreme pressure for much of the afternoon—the Redskins racked up five sacks—Bradford still managed to toss three touchdowns without turning the ball over.
His 15 completions were spread among eight players. Riley Cooper was the biggest beneficiary, with two receptions for 72 yards, most of that total coming on his 62-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter. The NFL Network has video of the pretty pass:
Not known for his ability to throw the ball downfield, Bradford did remarkably well on the deep ball, per ESPN Stats & Info:
The big fantasy day masks the issues still plaguing the Eagles' attack. The offensive line is porous at best, and there is no semblance of a running game despite the team featuring three talented backs in DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles.
Bradford has taken care of the ball in the past two weeks, but it will take more than a few scattered big plays to turn Philly's season around.
