Rugby World Cup Results 2015: Sunday Scores, Upcoming Fixture Schedule and More
A 16-9 win over Italy on Sunday was enough for Ireland to book their place in the quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup 2015, but coach Joe Schmidt will be concerned after such a limp display from his men.

Ireland 16-9 Italy
It was hardly the fanfare Ireland will have desired as they finally claimed their place in the next round of the World Cup at London's Olympic Stadium following a hard-fought 16-9 win against the Azzurri.
That seven-point margin was the closest Italy have finished to Ireland since beating the Boys in Green 22-15 back in 2013, and a better side would have punished Schmidt's side for their obvious shortcomings.
One positive for the Pool D leaders came after seeing Keith Earls keep up his fine vein of scoring form with an 18th-minute breakthrough thanks to some fine work by centre partner Robbie Henshaw, per ITV Rugby:
In doing so, Earls has become Ireland's record World Cup try-scorer with eight scores between the 2011 and 2015 tournaments, taking the accolade from former team-mate Brian O'Driscoll.
That might have sparked the reigning Six Nations champions into life, but Italy were far harder to dispatch than many might have presumed, and it was no coincidence that boost came with Sergio Parisse's return to the team.
Stephen Jones of the Times was perhaps right to assert that this kind of test will do Ireland a world of good in the long run, considering the likes of Romania and Canada failed to really test them:
But with just a converted try separating the two in the end, Schmidt will know there are improvements to be made ahead of the crunch clash against France on October 11.
Argentina 45-16 Tonga
Argentina have one boot in the quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup 2015 as football legend Diego Maradona was on hand to witness Sunday's win over Tonga at Leicester's King Power Stadium.
Daniel Hourcade's men left it late to seal their bonus-point victory thanks to a 71st-minute score from substitute Julian Montoya, who followed backs Joaquin Tuculet, Juan Imhoff and Nicolas Sanchez onto the scoresheet.

And it was in the backs that the Pumas did the most damage as they proved to be a far more lethal outfit when spreading possession, with the physicality of Tonga just not enough to keep pace with their opponents.
The Pacific Islanders dominated possession in the first half and actually managed to momentarily flip the script thanks to a sixth-minute try from fly-half Kurt Morath.
But Argentina's counter threat was showcased after Santiago Cordero followed up Tuculet's 19th-minute score by putting Imhoff in for a swift second just minutes later, per ITV Rugby:
The young winger was one of those in sparkling form during the 54-9 thumping of Georgia last time out, and while Mana Otai's pack put up a stiff contest, they eventually crumbled against the Pumas' pace.
No. 10 Sanchez was imperious from the tee and did his bit to keep Argentina's points tally ticking over, but Soane Tonga'uiha brought the score back to 20-13 with a well-worked try just before the break:
Further comparisons will be drawn between this and Argentina's win against Georgia, though, as they also stepped things up a notch in the second period of that match, while Tonga scored just three points in the last 40 minutes here.
Hourcade's side opened up some daylight thanks to the work of Sanchez and Montoya, while whizkid Cordero also picked up an injury-time try for his efforts, with Tonga visibly tired come full-time.
Pool C always looked like New Zealand's to lose, but another gradually improving display from Argentina means the Pumas are now one step closer to the last eight.
