WWE SmackDown Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from September 17
Just 72 hours away from World Wrestling Entertainment's Night of Champions pay-per-view on Sunday night, Nikki Bella promised a "Bellabration" in honor of her becoming the longest-reigning Divas champion in company history.
The titleholder was obnoxious as she discussed the celebration, which was to include hundreds of bottles of imported champagne and even an appearance by the Kardashians.
Unfortunately for her, what should have been the greatest night of her life turned into a night of braggadocious frustration, as she quickly found out just how much she is despised by the rest of the roster. Entering an empty room, her dreams of going Brie Mode with friends and co-workers were dashed.

Paige, Charlotte and Becky Lynch arrived to rub it in, leaving Nikki frustrated and tossing an entire cake at her unsuspecting Team Bella teammates.
All in all, it was a disastrous night for Nikki, but one that actually made the Divas champion one of the night's biggest winners.
The segments peppered throughout the show served as character-building and suggested that there may be dissension between her and Brie and Alicia Fox, both of whom looked genuinely annoyed with Nikki by night's end.
How that plays into Night of Champions and further down the road remains to be seen, but for now, it was a welcome addition to Thursday's show.
Who else joined the polarizing titleholder as winners, and which Superstars were not quite as lucky?
Let's take a look.
Winner: Paige
While the majority of the Divas Revolution's focus is on Charlotte and Nikki Bella as they wage war over the Divas Championship, the saga of Paige has flown under the radar over the last month.
A feud with Sasha Banks featured strong performances from both ladies between the ropes but saw Paige ultimately lose the program, leading to displays of frustration from the former two-time Divas champion.
Thursday night, she again found herself on the losing end of a match, pinned by Naomi in a tag bout also featuring the aforementioned Banks and Becky Lynch.
The arrival of Charlotte and Lynch took the focus off Paige's quest for the Divas title and led to a losing streak that has forced the Brit into the background. Showing frustration and never completely looking pleased as she accompanies her partners to the ring, it appears as though Paige could be on her way to betraying Team PCB.
That would do wonders both for Paige's character and the Divas Revolution, which is in desperate need of individual characters and personae in which fans can emotionally invest themselves. It is for that reason that, despite a loss Thursday night, Paige was one of the show's big winners.
Loser: Cesaro
It should be no surprise to fans of WWE that Cesaro would enjoy weeks of "winner" status only to fall back into the same booking pitfalls that have plagued him throughout his career in Vince McMahon's company.
After spending all summer working against John Cena and Kevin Owens and delivering performances that led to him being as over as ever as a babyface, Cesaro was unceremoniously beaten Thursday night by a Big Show who has been overexposed for the last 10 years and could not possible be greeted with more apathy than he currently is.
Cesaro now finds himself in a position of which no one could possibly be envious. Yes, he has the support of the WWE Universe, but that means little without the backup of the writing staff and management.
Just ask Zack Ryder.
Where he goes from here, with the rest of the notable midcard and main event stars tied up in other programs, is the question.
Loser: Dolph Ziggler
You would not know it from the way he was tossed around the ring and generally dominated by Kevin Owens Thursday night, but Ziggler will be involved in a fairly high-profile singles match against Rusev at Night of Champions.
Ziggler was treated like a complete afterthought as he squared off against the former NXT champion, needing intercontinental champion Ryback to hit the ring and rescue him from an apron powerbomb.
The feud involving Rusev has already done The Showoff a great disservice, saddling him with a soap opera angle that never really fit his character and a relationship with Lana that has shown zero chemistry between the performers.
Booking him to be the whipping boy for Owens only makes him look that much worse heading into a match that would ideally be so much hotter than it is.
