Jose Mourinho Cites Refugees to Calm 'Pressure' Talk After Everton vs. Chelsea
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has dismissed the notion that he's under pressure following the Blues' 3-1 defeat to Everton on Sunday by claiming that those involved in the current refugee crisis are the ones facing pressure.
According to Goal.com's Joe Wright, he said: "No [I don't feel under pressure]. I think the refugees are under big pressure."
The Portuguese manager added that he felt his team were somewhat hard done by as they slipped to 16th in the Premier League table having claimed just four points in five matches this season:

"We deserve a better result, we played for a better result, and we don't deserve this result.

Confidence is low, an unhappy team because of bad results, a team with some doubts because of every unlucky incident. For me, clearly, you can say what you want but the players deserve a much better result.
The big concern is everything goes against us. Every mistake we are punished, immediately. The players, they feel that weight.
Football writer Liam Canning summed up Chelsea's situation neatly:
Indeed, Chelsea have struggled significantly this season and after boasting the meanest defence in the league last year, have already conceded 12 goals—worse even than Sunderland's 10.
Incredibly vulnerable at the back and wholly lacking creativity or incisiveness up front, it could be argued that not a single regular starter for Chelsea has performed to a satisfactory level this year, let alone the incredible standards they set themselves on the way to winning the title last season.
Nevertheless, football commentator Jim Proudfoot provided some hope for the Blues:
To even have a chance of mounting an attempted title defence, though, Mourinho must find a way to restore his side's confidence while key figures such as Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa need to regain the kind of form they displayed last year.
Eventually, Chelsea's quality will undoubtedly shine through and at the very least they should still expect a top-four finish.
However, with Arsenal looming on the horizon and Manchester City enjoying a phenomenal early start, Chelsea need to pick themselves up sooner rather than later or they'll be out of the title race before it's even begun in earnest.
