Eden Hazard Discusses Chelsea's Premier League Form, Personal Ambitions and More
Chelsea star Eden Hazard has put the Blues' tough start to the new Premier League season down to the challenges of being defending champions.
Manager Jose Mourinho's side cruised to the title last term but have claimed just four points from their first four games in 2015-16, losing to both Manchester City and Crystal Palace.
PFA Player of the Year Hazard believes that his side are victims of their own success, but he is insistent Chelsea can repeat their title victory of last season, per fashion website HypeBeast.com: "It’s difficult to play as a champion because everyone wants to beat you, everyone wants to kill you. We wear the gold badge and it’s very good. We had a fantastic season last season, if we could do the same this season we’d be good."

Hazard has come under intense scrutiny of late for a perceived dip in form for both Chelsea and the Belgian national team, per Squawka's Oliver Young-Myles.
While he has yet to find the back of the net for the Blues in the league so far this season, some of the criticism aimed at him is perhaps unwarranted, per London24 Sport:
However, as Chelsea's most devastating attacking force, Mourinho could do with his 24-year-old star hitting the same heights he did last season to earn him numerous individual awards along with a first Premier League winners medal—and soon.
The Blues face a tricky away clash against Everton on Saturday with the recent home loss to Palace still fresh in the memory, despite the international break.
Hazard is clearly eager to find his form again and says that he is always striving to be better and to be a champion, per HypeBeast.com: "Every day I try to reach a better level. This is my job, every day I try to score. Every game I try to score. I just want to be champion."
If he can find his scoring boots at Goodison Park, the Blues may just be able to set themselves onto a winning trajectory again.
The Belgian faces a difficult task against a very capable Toffees defence which includes, among others, John Stones, whom Chelsea so desperately tried to sign in the recent transfer window, per Bleacher Report's Sam Tighe:
However, three points is an absolute must for the Blues this weekend as they already sit eight points behind league-leaders City and can ill afford to drop further back if they are to maintain their title ambitions.
