Gilas Pilipinas vs. China White: Time, Live Stream for 2015 William Jones Cup
The Philippines looks to finish the 2015 William Jones Cup on a high note Sunday as it takes on Chinese Taipei's White Team. The Gilas Pilipinas are a much-improved 5-2 after some struggles leading up to the event, while their opponents are winless in seven outings.
Even though the Philippines won't leave Taiwan with the championship—Iran clinched it with its victory Saturday—it's been a successful trip. The squad has made a lot of positive strides with the FIBA Asia Championship on the horizon.
Let's check out all of the important information for the Day 9 clash. That's followed by a preview and a game prediction as Tab Baldwin's group attempts to secure second place.

The Philippines arrived to the William Jones Cup with a cloud of uncertainty hovering above its head. It had gone 0-3 during the recent Toyota Four Nations Cup, and there were stretches during that event where the side played poorly, especially at the defensive end.
Although there's still room for improvement, regardless of how the tournament finale turns out, there's been a lot to like about the Gilas Pilipinas' play in Taiwan. Most importantly, their fundamentals have improved, and it's led to far more consistent play.
Various players have stepped up along the way. Terrence Romeo has led the charge offensively on most occasions, while Calvin Abueva has played some terrific across-the-board basketball. And the success has come without Andray Blatche, who's been away with a family matter.
The squad is coming off a strong showing against USA Select-Overtake, the only team to defeat Iran during the event. Giving up 27 points in the fourth to let the Americans back in the game was a bit concerning, but the performance as a whole was still more positive than negative.
Baldwin seemingly felt the same way afterward, as Musong R. Castillo of Inquirer noted.
"We wanted to achieve something in the game today and we did very good on that," the head coach said.
Anything less than another victory to close out the event would be a disappointment. Chinese Taipei (White) has been the worst team in the tournament by a pretty wide margin, as evidenced again Saturday, as it lost by 17 to Japan.
It's a good chance for Baldwin to use a heavy rotation. He can get some players who haven't played as much over the last three weeks (encompassing the Toyota Four Nations Cup and the William Jones Cup) some additional minutes while still aiming for the win.
All told, the Philippines should head into its final few weeks of preparation for the Asian Championship with plenty of positive vibes. The team is slowly but surely coming together, and eventually getting Blatche back into the mix will help.
Expect the Gilas Pilipinas to further showcase their continued progress with a win Sunday to close out the tournament.
Prediction: Philippines 88, Chinese Taipei (White) 68
