Matt Grimstone was a member of the ground staff at the Amex Stadium, while Jacob Schilt was a supporter of the club. Both were making their way to a Worthing United match when the crash happened.
As per BBC Sussex, Stockdale said:
"Our thoughts are firmly with the families and friends of all affected.
The squad is down in terms of what happened.
It has been tough to concentrate, but now we have turned it into more of what we can do at the weekend to help, in terms of using a bit of strength they would like to think they are bringing to us from wherever they are.
"
Brighton also confirmed on Thursday that Stockdale will wear a special training top as another tribute to the pair, who were among 11 people thought to have died when a Hawker Hunter jet crashed on the A27.
A fitting tribute from the former Fulham stopper.
