Little League World Series 2015: Wednesday TV Schedule and Bracket Predictions
The cream of the Little League crop at Williamsport, Pennsylvania, will return to action Wednesday.
The four teams who bring a 2-0 record into play will have a chance to earn a spot in either the U.S. or International finals.
Red Land of Pennsylvania, the Mid-Atlantic representative, will bring their powerful offense into play against surprising Pearland West of Texas, the Southwest Regional champions.
That game will be played at Lamade Stadium at 8 p.m. ET and will be televised by ESPN.
The U.S. game will be preceded by a meeting between Japan and Venezuela. The representative from Tokyo was very impressive in beating Chinese Taipei and Mexico in its first two games. The Cardenales of Venezuela defeated Australia in their first game last Friday and then came back with a 7-0 victory of Europe-Africa representative Uganda in the second game.
The international game will be played at Lamade Stadium at 4 p.m.

Mid-Atlantic regional representative the Red Land was pushed hard in their 9-8 victory over Northwood, South Carolina, Sunday night. In that game, the Southeast regional champions rallied for three runs in the top of the sixth inning to take an 8-6 lead, but Red Land battled back with three runs to remain undefeated. Jaden Henline drove in the tying and winning runs with a sharp double down the left field line.
Red Land has not lost a game in their postseason run. The team returned to practice Tuesday after a day off Monday.
“These kids have been playing baseball since the end of March, practicing since January, but playing games since the end March,” Red Land manager Tom Peifer told Pat Welter of ABC27. “To keep them fresh is the biggest goal. We aren’t going to get a lot better on the practice field, it’s keeping them fresh and sharp.”

Pearland West won a taut pitcher's duel in beating Northwest regional representative Wilshire-Riverside, Oregon, in its opening game, but then it surprised many Little League observers when it came through with an 8-4 win over Sweetwater Valley, California, the Western regional winner.
Sweetwater Valley is one of the most powerful teams in the tournament and has been showing off its power throughout the tournament, but Pearland West pitcher Ben Gottfried held the West regional representative scoreless in 4.2 innings of action.
While holding Sweetwater Valley in check is one thing, stopping Red Land is quite another. It is clearly a difficult assignment for Pearland West.
The losers of the two double-elimination games will remain in the fight for the Little League World Series title. The loser of the international game will play Mexico, while the loser of the U.S. game will play Sweetwater Valley.
Mexico played its best game of the tournament in beating Chinese Taipei 11-1 Tuesday. Raul Leon hit a three-run homer to spark Mexico during the first inning, and he added a two-run single.
Sweetwater Valley pounded out an 11-3 victory over Bowling Green, Kentucky, the Great Lakes regional representative. Antonio Andrade had three hits for Sweetwater Valley, while Walker Lannon had two.
Webb City, Missouri, took out its frustration in an 18-6 victory over Canadian representative British Columbia in the consolation game.
