Little League World Series 2015: Sunday Schedule, TV Info, Bracket Prediction
The Little League World Series ramps up a notch in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, when the eight winning teams from the opening day of the competition return to action.
The schedule is highlighted by the prime-time game between explosive Red Land of Pennsylvania, the Mid-Atlantic regional champions, and Northwood of South Carolina, the Southeast champions.
Red Land may have put fear in the hearts of some of the competition after overpowering Webb City of Missouri 18-0 in its opening game. Northwood may not be one of those teams, though, because the Southeast champions defeated New England in the opening game by a 7-1 margin, and pitcher Alex Edmondson threw a no-hitter.
Edmondson won't be able to pitch in this game, as he hit the 85-pitch mark while tossing his gem, so the South Carolina team will need to show it has the pitching depth to handle the powerful Red Land hitters.

That game will be played at Lamade Stadium and televised by ESPN 2 at 7 p.m.
| Team | Opponent | Time (ET) | Stadium | TV | Predicted Winner | Skinny |
| Latin America (Venezuela) | Europe-Africa (Uganda) | 11 a.m. | Volunteer | ESPN | Uganda | Sharp, hustling team ready to pull off a surprise |
| Southwest (Pearland West) | West (Sweetwater Valley) | 3 p.m. | Lamade | ABC | Sweetwater Valley | Too much power for Pearland to handle |
| Mexico (Seguro Social) | Japan (Tokyo) | 5 p.m. | Volunteer | ESPN | Japan | A major threat to win the championship |
| Southeast (Northwood) | Mid-Atlantic (Red Land) | 7 p.m. | Lamade | ESPN | Red Land | The juggernaut keeps winning |
Pearland West of Texas will meet Sweetwater Valley of California in the other game on the U.S. side of the bracket. Pearland West won a taut 1-0 game over Wilshire-Riverside in its opener, and the Texas team may need a similar pitching effort to win its second game. Sweetwater Valley pounded out a 14-2 win over Great Lakes in its opening game, belting six home runs in the process.

The international games will feature Uganda meeting Venezuela at 11 a.m. at Volunteer Field and Mexico meeting Japan six hours later on the same field.
Uganda is something of a Cinderella story in the Little League World Series. Not only did it storm through its European competitors to win the Europe-Africa region, it beat the Dominican Republic in the opening game of the tournament. The Dominican Republic has long been known for producing exceptional baseball players, while Uganda is relatively new to the sport.
Venezuela registered a solid 5-2 win over Australia in its first game, but it may have to raise its level against an aggressive Ugandan team that plays with a rare spirit.
Mexico squeaked by Canada 1-0 in its opener, thanks to a run in the bottom of the sixth inning. That may not be enough against a hard-hitting Japanese team that raced out to a sizable lead against Chinese Taipei and held on for a 7-5 win. Japanese slugger Kengo Tomita belted two home runs in that victory and will be a major threat at the plate against the Mexican team.
