Little League World Series 2015: Saturday Schedule, TV Info, Bracket Predictions
The 2015 Little League World Series began with a no-hitter, three games decided by two runs or less and two offenses that put up at least 14 runs. Saturday has a lot to live up to, with four elimination games on the schedule from Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
The magic of little league baseball is that one loss doesn't determine a team's fate, so the eight clubs in action today only need to focus on the task at hand. There is always great drama on the diamond as these young athletes fight for the greatest prize of their lives to this point.

Key Storyline

While there was no pattern to be discerned from Friday's action, one thing that did stand out in a few games was the superb pitching.
South Carolina's Alex Edmondson threw his second consecutive no-hitter in a 7-1 victory over Rhode Island. That was the best pitching performance, but seven of the 16 teams that played yesterday were held to one run or less.
Among the eight teams playing Saturday, the Northwest team from the United States has stellar pitching with Dylan MacLean and Samuel Stuhr but were hard-luck losers Friday against the Southwest. The pair combined to allow one run on one hit while striking out 12.
The problem was the one hit allowed was a solo home run to Isaac Garcia, while the Northwest offense was held in check with Southwest pitchers Jarrett Tadlock and Garcia combining to allow just one single with 11 strikeouts of their own.
Even though the offenses are capable of breaking out at any moment—the West and Mid-Atlantic teams from the United States combined to score 32 runs in their respective wins—pitching will determine which teams make it out of the first elimination day with their championship dreams still alive.
