The Packers also provided an image of the destination in the winter:
Per Ed Policy, Packers vice president and general counsel, investments from the team, Kohler Co., Bellin Health and Hinterland totaled between $120 million and $130 million. Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that the Packers spent $65 million to buy the land for the project, to construct utilities and to build the plaza.
The Titletown District will include a Kohler hotel, a Hinterland brewery and restaurant, a Bellin Health sports medicine clinic, residential areas and a public plaza, among other features, per Richard Ryman of the Green Bay Press Gazette.
"The Packers have two goals: win championships and make sure the team stays in Green Bay," Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy said during the Titletown unveiling, per the team's Twitter account.
It appears with this latest project that the Packers will be further entrenching themselves as a key component of the Green Bay community and area.
