Jaylen Brown Recruits LeBron James to 76ers, Talks Celtics Trade in IShowSpeed World Cup Video
Jaylen Brown may believe he is now a member of the Philadelphia 76ers because there is no loyalty in the NBA, but he is hoping to make the most of his new situation by teaming up with LeBron James.
In fact, he told the King to "pull up to Philly" during a video with streamer iShowSpeed:

Tatum Reflects on Brown Trade
That wasn't the only notable comment that came from his interaction with iShowSpeed.
The five-time All-Star was discussing the trade that sent him from the Boston Celtics to Philadelphia and said, "It's a crazy business, bro. Don't become a basketball player. There's no loyalty, there's no love…They packed me up, sayonara chat, I'm out of here."
It isn't difficult to assume Brown isn't pleased with the way the Celtics handled his trade this offseason.
Even before the move, he liked an Instagram comment saying Boston should trade him to "a city who respects him."
The word respect came up again when he released an official statement on the trade that said, in part, "Saying goodbye isn't easy when you've invested your heart into something. I'm big on respect and actions speak louder than words."
Boston moving on from Brown after his best season from an individual statistical perspective was shocking.
He carried the team for extended stretches in 2025-26 when Jayson Tatum was sidelined with injury and ended up finishing sixth in MVP voting as an All-NBA Second Team selection. He averaged career-highs in points (28.7), rebounds (6.9) and assists (5.1) per game.
Yet the Celtics decided this was the offseason they were going to move on from him in a trade that Brown believes highlighted the lack of loyalty in the league.
But it was also a trade that bolstered the 76ers' championship chances with a core of Brown, Joel Embid, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe. Adding James to that group would make Philadelphia all the more dangerous, and ESPN's Shams Charania has reported it is one of the top potential landing spots.
Perhaps Brown's recruitment will only help the team's chances.
