Czechia vs. Mexico Odds, Live Stream Schedule, Group Scenarios for World Cup 2026
Mexico gets to play with zero pressure on Wednesday night in its Group A finale at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
El Tri already advanced to the knockout round as the Group A winner due to their victories over South Korea and South Africa.
Wednesday's game with Czechia means way more for the European side.
A victory is imperative for the Czechs to have a shot at the knockout round. A draw or a loss likely eliminates them from the tournament.

Mexico clinched the Group A title in its last game, a win over South Korea.
El Tri now has the option to rotate their squad ahead of the knockout round, which for them, will begin on June 30 against a third-place team.
Mexico's starters would go 12 days in between games, if they are rested, but that might not be a bad thing given how long the club and international seasons are now. There's almost no time for rest in any part of the calendar.
If the rotation happens, we'll likely see more of Santiago Gimenez up top. Seventeen-year-old Gilberto Mora could get an extended run out as well.
Czechia's situation is far more dire going into Wednesday night at the Estadio Azteca.
Czechia only has one point from the first two games. It lost to South Korea and tied with South Africa after the late concession of a penalty.
The Czechs could still finish in second place in Group A if they beat Mexico and South Korea loses to South Africa.
That's an unlikely scenario, though, given how poor South Africa looked in stretches of the tournament.
Czechia's best way into the knockout round is to beat Mexico and sit on four points. That should advance it as one of the eight best third-place teams.
The assumption is that four points will be more than enough to get through as a third-place side.
A draw puts Czechia in a tough spot. It would have to wait out the other Matchday 3 contests to see if it can land one of the final advancement positions.
Czechia has far more to play for, but Mexico is still playing at its home fortress, the Azteca, and plenty of Mexican players will be out to impress so they can potentially play a role in the knockout round.
