San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama and Oklahoma City Thunder forward Chet Holmgren were officially announced as members of the 2025-26 NBA All-Defensive First Team on Friday.

The 2025-26 All-Defensive Second Team contained Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo, New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby, Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes, Atlanta Hawks guard Dyson Daniels and Oklahoma City Thunder guard Cason Wallace.

The full voting results were also released by the NBA.

The Thunder were the only squad to have multiple players earn All-Defensive recognition as Holmgren and Wallace made the First and Second Team, respectively.

Meanwhile, Wembanyama's selection was hardly a surprise after he became the firstย unanimousย Defensive Player of the Year in NBA history on April 20.

The 22-year-old routinely used his 7'4" height and 8" wingspan to disrupt passing lanes and deter shots at the rim, averaging a league-leading 3.1 blocks per game.

Opponents shot just 40.7 percent from the field when defended by Wembanyama during the regular season, the best mark in the association among players to defend at least 500 shots (viaย NBA.com).

As for Holmgren, he finished No. 2 in Defensive Player of the Yearย votingย for a Thunder squad that compiled the best regular-season record in the league at 64-18.

The 24-year-old averaged 1.9 blocks to go along with 0.6 steals per game throughout the year, while Oklahoma City's defensive rating fell from 102.3 with him on the floor to 107.9 with him off the court (viaย NBA.com).

Wembanyama and Holmgren are facing off in the Western Conference Finals, with Game 3 on Friday night.
