8. Ross Barkley (Everton) vs. Watford
3 of 10
Watford went ahead twice at Everton in their first game back in the Premier League but ended the afternoon with a 2-2 draw.
The best goal of a very entertaining game was Ross Barkley's 76th-minute equaliser, which saw the England star blast in an unstoppable right-footed drive from around 20 yards.
7. Toni Duggan (Manchester City Women) vs. Arsenal Ladies
4 of 10Manchester City Women overcame Women's Super League rivals Arsenal on Sunday in a five-goal thriller.

6. Ben Sheaf (Arsenal U19) vs. PSV Eindhoven U19
5 of 10While Arsenal's senior side suffered a poor start to their Premier League campaign and the ladies were defeated by Manchester City, the Gunners' U19s won a tournament in Durban, South Africa, by defeating PSV 2-1 in the final.
Seventeen-year-old prospect Ben Sheaf opened the scoring with a long-range thronker that threatened to break the net.
5. Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool) vs. Stoke
6 of 10
Liverpool exorcised the demons of their 6-1 defeat to Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium at the end of last season by taking three points upon their return.
Philippe Coutinho earned the victory with the kind of excellent, powerful strike we have come to expect from the Brazilian.
4. Paal Andre Helland (Rosenborg) vs. Lillestrom
7 of 10
Rosenborg stayed atop the Norwegian Eliteserien on Sunday with a 2-0 win at Lillestrom.
Scandinavia's finest goal of the weekend came from Pal Andre Helland, whose wonderful left-footed strike found the back of the net in the 39th minute.
3. Francis Narh (Banik Ostrava) vs. Mlada Boleslav
8 of 10You probably haven't heard of Francis Narh, but the Ghanian striker certainly put himself on the world football radar with a sublime solo effort in the Czech Liga on Saturday.
Narh scored both of Ostrava's goals against Mlada Boleslav, the first of which came from a 60-yard run and a wonderful finish.
2. Anwar El Ghazi (Ajax) vs. AZ Alkmaar
9 of 10Ajax kicked off their Eredivisie campaign with a visit to Alkmaar on Sunday. The Amsterdammers came away with a 3-0 win, thanks in part to two strikes from Anwar El Ghazi.
The 20-year-old winger's opener in the 14th minute was a world-class 30-yard drive across goal that no 'keeper in the world could have put a hand to.
1. Bradley Bubb (Oxford City) vs. Chelmsford City
10 of 10On the day when the Premier League returned, the most outrageous goal scored in England—and perhaps the world—came from the National League South.
Oxford City were 2-1 down against Chelmsford City when forward Bradley Bubb decided to take a punt from kick-off. As you can see, it worked.
An audacious way to earn a point!
