Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Milliner Placed on IR with Designation to Return, Expected to Miss 6-8 Weeks

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network confirmed Milliner's status, citing a source and noting the cornerback will be out for half of the season.
Rapoport's timeline matches what Eric Allen of NewYorkJets.com reported when Milliner first went under the knife on Aug. 7. Allen said the cornerback would miss six to eight weeks.
The ninth overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft, Milliner has yet to play all 16 games in a season. He missed three games as a rookie and only played three games in 2014 because of various injuries, including a torn Achilles that landed him on injured reserve in October.
Star defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson will also miss the season's first four games due to a suspension for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy, which adds to the Jets' defensive problems.
New Jets head coach Todd Bowles did stock the secondary in the offseason with Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie returning to New York. Milliner's absence, while not a crippling blow, is the latest obstacle in his quest to earn a prominent role on the team after being such a high draft pick.
