Masters Odds 2026 and Latest Vegas Lines for Underrated Sleeper Picks in the Field
The Masters typically isn't a tournament where sleeper picks win.
The last true surprise winner at Augusta National Golf Club was Tiger Woods in 2019.
Before that, Danny Willett's triumph in 2016 was the last performance that caught the golf world off guard.
The last four Masters tournaments have gone to Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Scottie Scheffler.
The favorites are expected to control the event again, but that doesn't mean the leaderboard will be devoid of any sleepers trying to ruin the party for the top names in the sport.
Chris Gotterup (+4500)
1 of 3
Chris Gotterup has history working against him at Augusta.
The American, who is +4500 to win at FanDuel Sportsbook, is playing in his Masters. No debutante has won at Augusta in five decades.
Gotterup comes into Augusta with a fifth-place spot in the FedEx Cup standings. He's coming off a tie for sixth at the Houston Open in which he shot in the 60s in every round.
He doesn't have a long track record at majors, but Gotterup did place third at The Open in his first appearance at the overseas major.
Gotterup might be the highest-profile sleeper in the field. He's had a quick rise to the top of the PGA Tour leaderboard in the last year, but he lacks the course knowledge that so many of the world's top golfers have from playing years at Augusta.
Corey Conners (+10000)
2 of 3
The odds don't suggest it, but Corey Conners has been one of the best players at Augusta over the last six years.
The Canadian owns four top-10 finishes at the Masters during that span, including a tie for eighth last year.
There's a ton of data from the current PGA Tour season that backs up Conners as a threat to win, but course history is a huge factor to consider at the season's first major.
Conners shot an opening-round 68 last year and followed that up with two rounds of 70 to hang around on the leaderboard.
He won't be the first, or even the 20th, pick to win by some fans and experts, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him lurking around the top 10 come Sunday.
Jacob Bridgeman (+8000)
3 of 3
If you're looking to make a pick solely based on form, Jacob Bridgeman is the guy.
Bridgeman is the current leader in the FedEx Cup standings and he hasn't finished outside the top 20 this season on the PGA Tour.
The 26-year-old missed the cut at his two career majors and hasn't played in the Masters. Both of those stats are big reasons to not pick him.
However, form can't be ignored and Bridgeman placed in a tie for fifth at The Players Championship, the tournament with the best field prior to the Masters.
