Scottie Scheffler Brings 9-Day-Old Son to 2026 Masters, Explains Baby's Name
Scottie Scheffler and his wife Meredith Scheffler brought their nine-day old son Remy to Augusta National on Sunday ahead of the 2026 Masters Tournament, Doug Ferguson reported for the Associated Press.
Scheffler withdrew from the Texas Children's Houston Open on March 24 due to family reasons. He told Ferguson his second son was born three days later.
"We just liked it," Scheffler told Ferguson about Remy's name. "We didn't have very many good boy names, to be honest with you."

Scheffler and his wife welcomed their first child, Bennett, shortly before the 2024 PGA Championship in May 2024.
Bennett was present with his mother on Sunday to watch Scheffler warm up for a practice round, while Scheffler's parents attended with Remy in a stroller, per PGATour.com's Paul Hodowanic.
Scheffler, who won the Masters in 2022 and 2024, is looking to get his third green jacket after almost a month away from competition. He last competed at The Players Championship in mid-March, where he finished five-under par to tie for 22nd at TPC Sawgrass.
He is now looking to become the first player since Adam Scott in 2013 to win the Masters after three weeks off, per Ferguson, when Round 1 of the tournament tees off Thursday at Augusta National.
