WWE SummerSlam 2015: Overlooked Stars Who Will Make Big Impacts at PPV
Coming out of the Battleground pay-per-view, the WWE Universe’s excitement has grown, but there are still several Superstars who are being overlooked heading into the 2015 edition of SummerSlam on August 23.
With Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper lost in a feud without a storyline, Kevin Owens and Cesaro floating around the midcard and Sheamus' possible Money in the Bank cash-in attempt, there are several wrestlers who are not currently being talked about but could steal the show.
Here are the unheralded wrestlers who will shine at SummerSlam.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper
Wyatt is one of the most talented performers on the mic in WWE, but he is not being given quality storylines on a consistent basis. Despite the lackluster build, Wyatt and Harper will steal the show as a tag team against Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.
Adding Harper back to The Wyatt Family was a great storyline twist, but there has been no build—or even a mention from commentators—about why the base feud of Reigns vs. Wyatt is still going on, or what caused the tension.
Was it Wyatt's mentioning Reigns’ daughter? Wyatt's ruining Reigns' chance to win Money in the Bank? Something different entirely? Unfortunately, WWE has abandoned ship on all previous storylines attached to this and is just allowing the men to fight without any kind of long-term implications.
Using Wyatt and Harper’s rapport with each other—as well as the rapport between Reigns and Ambrose—the tag team match has the availability to shock fans and be one of the most memorable matches on the PPV card.
Kevin Owens and Cesaro
It’s a step down for Owens to square off against Cesaro after fighting United States champion John Cena, but thankfully for wrestling fans, these two men will elevate their games and use this matchup at SummerSlam to put on an instant classic.
If you thought Cena and Owens put on great matches, Cesaro and Owens have the ability to put on a Match of the Year candidate if provided the proper time.
Both men should be in a higher position on the card, but this presents the pair with the unique opportunity to take the low expectations—since there is hardly any focus on the bout—and stun casual wrestling fans by stealing the show.
Cesaro is perpetually overlooked. Owens tapped out to Cena. With a chip on their shoulders, this secondary match will likely be the best technical bout of the PPV. While it won’t mean very much in the long term, it will be an amazing match in the moment.
Sheamus
One of the most unpredictable matches on the SummerSlam card is the title-vs.-title bout between Seth Rollins and Cena. With both the WWE World Heavyweight and United States Championships on the line, something big must be taking place.
With few people expecting it, Sheamus' cashing in at SummerSlam would be a huge moment.
Since winning the Money in the Bank, Sheamus has looked like an absolute joke, but that’s how WWE books wrestlers with the briefcase. With everyone thrown off the scent of a cash-in due to Sheamus' constant losing, walking out with the world title would shock the WWE Universe.
Cena has brought legitimacy back to the United States Championship and should keep defending the belt. On the other hand, Rollins' losing the title to Sheamus would create a fresh feud and likely be the beginning of a face turn for Rollins.
