NBA Celebrity All-Star Game 2026 Rosters, Team Coaches and MVP Prediction
The 2026 NBA All-Star Game is nearly here, but before it tips off on Sunday, fans will be treated to several other events, including the 2026 All-Star Celebrity Game.
While the All-Star Celebrity Game certainly doesn't feature the same high-octane style of play that the All-Star Game does, it's become a very entertaining inclusion of All-Star Weekend. Participants tend to take it seriously, and it's always fun to watch stars from other sports, film, and music show off their basketball skills.
This year's celebrity game will feature the likes of actor Keegan-Michael Key, ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania, Olympic sprinter Andre De Grasse, NFL star Amon-Ra St. Brown, singer-songwriter Adrien Nuñez, and actor Rome Flynn, who was last year's game MVP.
Former NBA stars like Jeremy Lin and Jason Williams will also be involved.
Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will headline the coaching staff of one team, while actor Anthony Anderson will headline the other. Here's everything you need to know.

Preview and MVP Prediction

The All-Star Celebrity Game will serve as the perfect lead-in to the rest of the weekend's festivities. While a few former NBA standouts will be in the lineup—along with a couple of NBA chairmen and an insider—most of the competitors will come from outside of the basketball world.
This means that coaching will be important, and fortunately, this year's game will feature some terrific coaches.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, of course, is one of the top players in the sport today. He and his brothers, Alex and Thanasis—along with L.A. Dodgers star Mookie Betts—should have their squad ready to roll.
While Anderson is an actor, he's participated in the celebrity game before and can bring some insight into the proceedings. He'll be assisted by NBA shooting coach Lethal Shooter and NBA skills trainer Chris Brickley.
The battle for game MVP will be an interesting one, especially with former NBA champions on the court. However, it's worth noting that the MVP is named via fan vote, which means we're likely to see a non-basketball celebrity win the award.
Pro athletes from other sports have a strong recent track record, as DK Metcalf and Micah Parsons were named MVP in 2024 and 2025, respectively. St. Brown, De Grasse, Keenan Allen, and Cafu should all be strong contenders for the award.
However, the prediction here is that we see the first repeat MVP since Kevin Hart won four straight between 2012 and 2015.
Flynn was electric in last year's game, racking up 22 points, eight rebounds, and five assists while leading his team to victory. A similar performance in another win should be enough for Flynn to get the repeat treatment.
Expect Team Antetokounmpo to get the win, with Flynn narrowly beating out Charania and GloRilla for MVP honors.
