Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters Monday night that Curry would sit out the All-Star Game with the right knee injury that has sidelined him for four games.
This marks Ingram's second All-Star appearance. He previously earned the honor during his Most Improved Player campaign with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2019-20.
Curry had earned his 12th NBA All-Star nod after averaging 27.2 points through his first 39 games of the Warriors' season.
He will miss the game with dealing with runner's knee, also known as patellofemoral pain syndrome, per ESPN's Anthony Slater.
Kerr told reporters Monday that Curry's injury is a "day-to-day thing," and that the Warriors are hoping have him back on Feb. 19 for the team's first game back after the All-Star break.
The time off will now give Curry additional time to rest in hopes of returning after the break, while allowing Ingram to celebrate a strong first season in Toronto with an All-Star nod.
Ingram is leading the Raptors this season with 22.0 points per game while shooting 47.2 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from deep and 83.5 percent from the foul line.
He is also averaging 5.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 52 games for the Raptors.
Scottie Barnes was already named to the All-Star Game roster, making this the first time in four years that the Raptors have sent multiple players to the event.
The last time the Raptors had multiple All-Stars on the roster was in 2019-20, when both Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam were named to the event.
The Raptors will be split between two American teams in 2026. Ingram will play for USA Stripes, while Barnes will be competing for USA Stars.
Both players will be competing with Raptors head coach Darko Rajaković, who is leading Team World, in a round-robin mini-tournament this Sunday at Inuit Dome.
