
Breezy Johnson Fastest in Olympic Women's Alpine Skiing, Results for 2026 Combined Downhill
Breezy Johnson put the United States in a formidable position in the women's alpine skiing combined event on Tuesday, finishing first in the downhill section at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan.
Johnson built on her individual gold medal with a time of 1:36.59, 0.06 seconds ahead of Austria's Ariane Raedler in second place and 0.27 seconds ahead of Italy's Laura Pirovano in third.

-2nd: Ariane Raedler (AUT) - 1:36.65
-3rd: Laura Pirovano (ITA) - 1:36.86
Jackie Wiles was the first of the American contingent to attack the slopes. She pushed hard, but lost the flow from the top section and finished fourth with a time of 1:37.04.
Raedler then set the first time under 1:37 with an incredible run, putting pressure on Johnson at the top. The favourite duly delivered shortly after, despite a little wobble near the start.
USA's Isabella Wright lost her line and was the second rider unable to finish after Italy's Sofia Goggia fell.
Keely Cashman was the last of the American skiers to go. She had to recover after losing the outside ski at the top and finished with a time of 1:39.91 in 21st.
Team USA's Mikaela Shiffrin now has the chance to bring home the win in the slalom portion later in the day.
