Dylan Raiola's Brother Dayton Commits to Oregon, Everything You Need to Know About Class of 2026 TE
Dylan Raiola's brother reportedly plans to join him at Oregon.
Per On3's Hayes Fawcett, class of 2026 athlete Dayton Raiola has committed to the Ducks. The 6'3", 220-pound prospect will play tight end at Oregon, according to Fawcett.
Raiola, who currently plays quarterback at Buford High School in Georgia, is considered to be a 3-star prospect by 247Sports' composite rankings. He held offers from Nebraska, Appalachian State, Charlotte and more before committing to Oregon.
Raiola committed to the Cornhuskers in September of 2024, when his older brother was in his freshman season, but he decommitted from the team in November, a month before Dylan announced his decision to transfer away from Nebraska.
With the elder Raiola committing to Oregon in January, the Ducks seemingly were the favorite to land Dayton. Now, the two will team up in Eugene in the fall.
Whether Dylan will be under center for Oregon remains up in the air this offseason. When he committed to the Ducks, he seemingly had the starting position lined up and waiting for him, but Dante Moore's decision to return to college means a quarterback battle will take place.
Moore is coming off a season in which he threw for 3,565 yards, 30 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He was widely considered to be one of the top quarterbacks in this year's draft class before returning to college.
Dylan, a former 5-star prospect in the class of 2024, hasn't reached the heights some thought he would just yet. Last year, he threw for just 2,000 yards with 18 touchdowns and six interceptions.
Being with a new team, and having his brother with him, could help him get turn things around in 2026.
