NBA Execs Sound Off on Michael Porter Jr.'s Trade Value, Market Amid Nets Rumors

Amid trade rumors surrounding Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr., a handful of executives weighed in on his trade value.

Per NBA insider Jake Fischer, one executive said Porter has "returned to neutral value.

"At worst he's returned to neutral value," the executive said. "Which is a major development."

Another executive told Fischer that Porter could be a worthwhile addition to any team.

"Who couldn't use an MPJ?" the exec said.

Porter, who was traded to the Nets from the Denver Nuggets this offseason, has had the chance to show what he can do as the No. 1 option in an offense, putting up 25.8 points on 49.6 percent from the field and 41 percent from deep.

Given his strong performance, Porter has emerged as a potential trade candidate for several teams. One such team reportedly is the Milwaukee Bucks, as The Athletic's Sam Amick noted that Porter is considered to be a "name worth watching" ahead of the trade deadline.

The Nets are 10-20 this season and don't appear on their way to turning things around anytime soon, so moving on from Porter to continue their rebuild could be the best move before the deadline.
