The 2025 NCAA Division I women's soccer semifinals:

  • No. 2 TCU vs. No. 3 Florida State

2024 Division I Women's Soccer Semifinals

Junior forward Mia Minestrella earned All-ACC First Team honors this season after leading Duke to the NCAA College Cup for the second straight year, capping a 3-0 win over Washington with her sixth tournament goal and an assist.

Minestrella has powered the Blue Devils with 18 goals and five assists in 22 matches, helping Duke to a 17-4-1 regular-season finish.

Last season, Duke fell 3-0 to eventual national champion North Carolina in the Final Four, but this year's team enters the tournament looking sharper and aiming for the program's first NCAA title.

Jasmine Aikey and the Stanford Cardinal have dominated the NCAA Tournament, beating three of their four opponents by four or more goals.

The senior midfielder has recorded either a goal or an assist in every tournament match, helping Stanford reach the NCAA College Cup with five goals so far.

Aikey earned All-ACC First Team honors and was named both the ACC Championship All-Tournament MVP and to the All-Tournament Team this season and is a finalist for Top Drawer Soccer's Player of the Year Award

Stanford fell 1-0 to Wake Forest in the Final Four last year, but now looks to overcome last season's shortcomings and push toward the National Championship.

Florida State – Jordynn Dudley

Florida State v North Carolina

Jordynn Dudley scored twice to power Florida State to a 4-1 win over unranked Ohio State, sending the Seminoles to the Final Four and ending the Buckeyes' Cinderella run.

The junior forward leads FSU in points this season with 14 assists and 11 goals during her First Team All-ACC campaign. She is also one of five finalists for the TDS Player of the Year Award after helping guide the Seminoles to a 14-2-4 regular-season finish.

Florida State and Dudley were eliminated in the second round of last year's NCAA Tournament on penalty kicks by No. 8 Vanderbilt despite entering as a No. 1 seed.

Coming in as the No. 3 seed this season, FSU is back with a vengeance after last year's early upset loss — a stumble that followed its 2023 national championship run.
