AEW Dynamite Results, Winners, Live Grades and Highlights After Full Gear 2025
Following an eventful Full Gear, All Elite Wrestling arrived in The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennesse for Dynamite for a Thanksgiving Eve show.
Samoa Joe captured the AEW World Championship from "Hangman" Adam Page with help from Hook, but he also invoked the wrath of the returning Swerve Strickland.
The Opps promised a celebration, but would The Cowboy and The Mogul allow them any peace to enjoy the tainted victory?
The Women's World Tag Team Championships Tournament continued with a semifinal clash between The Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue) and The Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale).
The Continental Classic began with three massive clashes between top stars.
Kazuchika Okada would face the only man to pin him in the C2 last year, Kyle Fletcher.
Jon Moxley looked to rebound from his Full Gear loss against CMLL's Máscara Dorada. Darby Allin also sought a strong start against C2 newcomer Kevin Knight.
This was certain to be a special night of action, thanks to the return of the C2 as well as follow-up from the major title changes coming out of Full Gear.
C2 Gold League: Kazuchika Okada vs. Kyle Fletcher
1 of 7Last Time in Action: Kyle Fletcher lost his TNT Championship to Mark Briscoe, and Kazuchika Okada alongside Konosuke Takeshita and Hechicero lost to El Sky Team (Full Gear, November 22).
The Rainmaker and Protostar opened the Continental Classic with another hard-hitting competitive battle.
Once again after both had delivered their best offense, it was Fletcher that took the pin, catching Okada with a victory roll pin for three.
This was a great opening match-up highlighted by both heels refusing to play to the crowd or fight fair despite their potential friendship.
Okada gave Fletcher more than most in this contest, making him look like an equal to The Rainmaker throughout.
The Rainmaker losing match one of his second C2 was certainly unexpected but is a good way to make the bracket look unpredictable.
Many names are going to start their C2 journeys with more points that the reigning Unified champion. Fletcher immediately looks like a front-runner as well from his victory.
Okada will still make it out of the round robin stage. Fletcher may be the other man in the Gold League to advance, but that would be a repeat from last year. It is more likely someone will pass The Protostar in the coming weeks.
Result
Fletcher (3) defeated Okada (0) by pinfall.

Notable Moments and Observations
- Don Callis joined commentary with the threat of a lifetime ban if he got involved in any C2 match.
- Okada and Fletcher showed their similar styles, catching each other cheating early. They showed respect to one another while never holding back.
- The Rainmaker sent Rick Knox into the ropes to cause The Protostar to fall off the top to the floor. Fletcher sent Knox into the ropes himself later to crotch Okada on the top. Both then pleaded with the ref for no DQ.
- Okada caught Flether with a Rainmaker and kept wrist control to go for a second. Fletcher ducked it and transitioned into a brainbuster for the near-fall.
- Afterward, Fletcher and Okada shook hands, keeping the ProtOkada dream alive.
- Both men delivered some memorable facial expressions in this one, but Okada saved his best for last with his shocked face after the three count.
- AEW showed a post-Full Gear promo from Mark Briscoe who talked about winning the TNT Championship for his brother Jay Briscoe.
Women's World Tag Title Tournament: Sisters of Sin vs. Babes of Wrath
2 of 7
Last Time in Action: The Sisters of Sin and Babes of Wrath alongside Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir lost to The Timeless Love Bombs (Full Gear, November 22).
While Julia Hart and Skye Blue kept firm control early, Willow Nightingale built up the energy in this contest all the way to a Babe Bomb on Julia to win.
This was a fun match that continued to deliver the good in this tag team tournament.
Both teams struggled a bit to stay on time in this one, but it was chock-full of great sequences from everyone involved, making up for some clunkier moments.
It was genuinely surprising that The Babes of Wrath won as the story seemed to be building toward "Timeless" Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa meeting The Sisters of Sin in the final.
Instead, Willow and Harley went from dark horses to possibly the favorites of the tournament.
This could also mean that The Timeless Love Bombs may not even make the finals against the imposing duo of Megan and Marina.
Result
Willow and Harley def. Hart and Blue by pinfall to advance to the finals of the Women's World Tag Team Championships Tournament.

Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland Ruin The Opps' Celebration
3 of 7Samoa Joe took the ring with The Opps to celebrate. He showed a video package of his grand plan, focused on Hook's manipulation, before he brought out The Handsome Devil.
Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland arrived with chains and sent The Opps into retreat, hanging multiple members of The Opps Dojo.
This was short but consistently effective. Joe did not need a long-winded speech. Hook did not need to explain his heel turn.
The goal was to further sell all of The Opps as hateable then bring out The Cowboy and The Mogul on a mission of pure violence.
Once again, Joe stands with the gold, but it is Swerve and Hangman that stood tall in the ring.

Blue League: Jon Moxley vs. Máscara Dorada
4 of 7
Last Time in Action: Máscara Dorada alongside Místico and Neón successfully defend the CMLL Trios Championships against The Don Callis Family, and Jon Moxley tapped out to Kyle O'Reilly (Full Gear, November 22).
Jon Moxley found himself overwhelmed and outmatched by a confident Dorada, who kept pushing the tempo in this match.
However, Mox showed how much of an advantage he had in terms of experience. He got his knees up against a Shooting Star Press and locked in a choke hold that knocked out the luchador.
Afterward, "Timeless" Toni Storm arrived to confront Marina Shafir and declared that she and Mina Shirakawa would fight Marina and Megan Bayne in a Hardcore Holiday Deathmatch next week.
While Dorada has delivered greater matches in AEW, this was about as confident as he has ever looked in an AEW ring.
Mox made him look like an unstoppable force throughout, flying around the ring with pinpoint accuracy, easily making up the botches in last week's match.
Due to the recent struggles of The Death Rider, Dorada winning here would not have been a shock, but the way this was structured especially sold the upset.
It is a shame it did not end with the luchador picking up the win, but this tournament should be a massive showcase for Dorada, who is a clear favorite of Tony Khan to bring in from CMLL.
Mox's win delays his eventual dismissal from The Death Riders, which is likely not going to happen until after the C2 is complete.
Storm confronting Mox (and Marina) was a fun surprise after the result. Storm and Mina vs. Marina and Megan is going to a bloody spectacle next week and could be the tournament's greatest match.
Result
Mox def. Dorada by knockout.

Notable Moments and Observations
- Before this match, AEW aired a post-Full Gear promo from Mox, who desperately argued he was the real winner since he injured Kyle O'Reilly.
- Mox had control early in this one, but he got too risky with his offense, allowing the luchador to turn the tide.
- Dorada caught Mox with a cutter that sent him throat-first into the barricade.
- The luchador stuck the landing on a 450 splash, but Mox managed to barely kick out on the pin attempt.
Gold League: Darby Allin vs. Kevin Knight
5 of 7
Last Time in Action: Pac defeated Darby Allin, and Kevin Knight competed in and lost the Casino Gauntlet to Ricochet (Full Gear, November 22).
While Darby Allin was medically cleared for this tournament, he looked like he was not physically able to match up to Kevin Knight.
The Jet overwhelmed him and picked up a clean victory with the UFO.
While both previous matches could arguably be called better technically, this felt like the most important match of night one for the C2.
Knight did not just defeat Allin. He pinned him clean in the ring after hitting his finisher. It made him look like a massive deal despite coming in as a major underdog.
The Daredevil is one of AEW's biggest stars. This was a major seal of approval for a man that has been talked about as one of the true future stars of AEW.
The future could be now if Knight can keep delivering in the ring and pull off just a couple more upsets.
His odds still seem low given his competition, but the C2 can deliver some real shockers at times.
Result
Knight (3) def. Allin (0) by pinfall.

Blue League: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Orange Cassidy
6 of 7Last Time in Action: Claudio Castagnoli and Orange Cassidy both competed in the Casino Gauntlet and lost to Ricochet (Full Gear, November 22).
Cassidy brought his absolute best to the fight with Castagnoli, but The Swiss Superman continued to be a tough fight for Freshly Squeezed.
Castagnoli sealed the win with a pop-up European uppercut.
Afterward, The Death Riders arrived to attack Cassidy, but the locker room spilled out as various C2 competitors arrived to brawl. Máscara Dorada dove onto everyone while Freshly Squeezed caught Wheeler Yuta with an Orange Punch.
This continued to showcase the incredible chemistry between Cassidy and Castagnoli. It flew by despite going over 12 minutes.
The result was unpredictable at this early stage of the tournament, so the out-of-nowhere uppercut finish was entirely appropriate.
The Swiss Superman was the right winner in this one, especially as he prepares to likely take over The Death Riders. He should be a nearly unstoppable force as the only man to compete in every C2 so far.
It is time for Castagnoli to make the semifinals at least in the Continental Classic. Cassidy will work well with just about everyone, but it is highly unlikely he makes it out of the round robin stage.
Result
Castagnoli (3) def. Cassidy (0) by pinfall.

Overall Show
7 of 7How do you beat the one-two punch of following up an eventful Full Gear and starting up the Continental Classic?
This show flew by, relying heavily on C2 action to guide the night along. In particular, Kevin Knight's standout win over Darby Allin and the wild opener between Kazuchika Okada and Kyle Fletcher set a strong standard.
The only in-ring segment over the whole night was Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland ruining The Opps' celebration, and that was tightly paced to keep up the heat.
This was AEW at its best. Non-stop action with important stakes alongside focused mic work to advance the key stories of the company.
While plenty of major Full Gear fallout was saved for Collision, that only highlighted how tightly paced this show was.
It's C2 season, and that means Dynamite is can't-miss TV again.
