USMNT Watch: Feilhaber Continues Great MLS Season, Pelosi Signs with San Jose
While most of our focus regarding the United States men's national team is surrounding the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup at the moment, one deserving player is thriving back in Major League Soccer.
Benny Feilhaber, who has been one of the top five players in MLS this season, has been consistently snubbed by manager Jurgen Klinsmann despite his terrific form.
Off the pitch in MLS, the former top youth prospect returned home after inking a deal with the San Jose Earthquakes.
Continue reading below for more in-depth updates on the USMNT players at the club level.
Feilhaber In Fine Form
Feilhaber once again impressed in his central role for Sporting Kansas City in the MLS side's 2-1 home win over the Montreal Impact.
In the fourth minute, Feilhaber finished off a nice team move in the final third with a left-footed shot into the right side of the net. The goal was produced by some terrific pressure by Feilhaber and others in the Sporting KC attack.

Later on in the first stanza, Feilhaber turned provider on Dom Dwyer's 34th-minute goal. The 30-year-old played a splendid ball through the middle of the field to the feet of Dwyer to put Sporting KC ahead by two.
Through 18 matches in 2015, Feilhaber has six goals and 10 assists to his name. It has been made clear on numerous occasions that Klinsmann doesn't rate the player, but if the USMNT boss were to change his mind, the Yanks would add a solid midfielder to their squad.
Marc Pelosi Signs with Earthquakes
In the minutes leading up to Friday's California Clasico between the San Jose Earthquakes and the Los Angeles Galaxy, San Jose announced the addition of former Liverpool player Marc Pelosi.
Pelosi's name is a familiar one to those in the USMNT fanbase, but few have seen much of the player to truly know what he is all about. He recently played with Liverpool's youth teams, but he never made a breakthrough into the first team.
If he assimilates well into the San Jose lineup, Pelosi could bring the same impact to the field that Sebastian Lletget has had with the Galaxy since returning from West Ham United.
Geoff Cameron Helps Stoke Earn Preseason Win
Over on the other side of the planet, a few USMNT players started preparing for the upcoming English Premier League season with their respective sides.

On Saturday, Geoff Cameron played 90 minutes for Stoke City in their 2-0 victory over the Singapore Select XI in the third-place game of the Barclays Asia Trophy competition.
Everton and Arsenal played in the final of the tournament, but neither Tim Howard nor Gedion Zelalem made his way onto the pitch.
