British Open Leaderboard 2015: Updating Results and Standings for Sunday
The third round of the 2015 British Open had a bit of a delayed start, with the first pairings of the day heading out onto the course Sunday morning. Dustin Johnson found himself at the top of the standings after two rounds of play at 10 under, and with St Andrews offering up plenty of low scores on Sunday, he has a great chance of winning his first major.
Here's the current leaderboard:

Johnson entered the third round with a one-shot lead due largely to a great first round, and as shared by ESPN Stats & Info, recent history suggests he has a great chance at winning this year's British Open:
Fans will be quick to point at the U.S. Open and his inability to finish the job under pressure, but things are looking up for the American at St Andrews. Danny Willett and Eddie Pepperell have both struggled for consistency in 2015, and some of the top contenders for the win, like Jordan Spieth, will have to overcome a huge gap to knock Johnson from the top spot.
Conditions on Sunday appear to be in his favor, with some of the early pairings managing very low scores. As shared by Bleacher Report's Lindsay Gibbs, the course seems quite easy to play compared to the past few days:
Amateur Ashley Chesters managed a round of five-under 67 on Sunday, while Marc Leishman came close to making history. A par-par finish saw him finish eight-under 64, missing a birdie putt on the 17th that seemed to shake his concentration.
While both are fine players in their own right, you have to assume Johnson should be able to hold his nerves on a course like that and not blow his lead on Sunday.
The 31-year-old seems calm and relaxed, and when asked about a first-round bogey that was clearly influenced by the wind, he gave reporters the kind of answer you want to hear from a champion, via ESPN's Jason Sobel:
Talking and playing aren't the same thing, however, and we'll find out whether he has what it takes to win a major on Sunday and Monday.
Spieth, the winner of both majors so far this season, was paired with Sergio Garcia for Sunday's round, to the delight of Golf Digest:
The 21-year-old struggled with his short game throughout the second round, and the fact he sat just five shots behind Johnson entering Sunday speaks volume to his phenomenal talent. The youngster was one of many to struggle with the harsh conditions, and there's every reason to believe he'll do far better from now on.
WGRZ's Jonah Javad certainly thinks so:
A bogey brought his score on the front-nine down to two-under 34 on Sunday, but after a hot start to the back-nine with three straight birdies, he's rapidly climbing the standings.
St Andrews looked fairly easy to play on Sunday, but not everyone found the fairway with relative ease. Just look at this shot from Pepperell:
There's sure to be plenty of movement on Sunday, setting the table for what should be an exciting final day of competition.
