British Open 2015: Real-Time Leaderboard Updates for Sunday Leaders
Weather delays didn't play their part on moving day at the 2015 British Open. Despite a wet surface, players were able to take to the St Andrew's course early and experience few problems.
With Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth not teeing off until later in the day, Australian Marc Leishman took his chance to shake up the leaderboard early on. But Spieth soon seized the advantage, looking like a different player since being presented by more favourable weather.
But the big surprise of the day has to be amateur Paul Dunne. He has enjoyed a share of the summit position on the leaderboard. In fact, Dunne even had that spot all to himself at one point.

Marc Leishman
Leishman was incredibly efficient making his way over a course that has so far given every top player major problems. His scorecard made for very impressive reading, per The Open official Twitter feed:
His consistent scoring put Leishman in a unique position on the day, according to the European Tour Twitter account:
Leishman's excellent effort increased the pressure on the leaders, but he soon found himself tied for seventh as some of the big hitters made their moves.
Chief among them was Spieth, who had suffered through one of his worst-ever days earlier in the tournament. But with conditions cleared, Spieth reasserted himself.
Jordan Spieth
Not long removed from a day of record ineptitude, Spieth was back to his best. The weather-disrupted second round certainly took its toll on the American, per Jay Coffin of NBC Sports' GolfChannel.com:
"Spieth needed 37 putts to negotiate his second-round 72 of the Open Championship, the most putts he’s had in a round as a professional. He also had five three-putts and has not had more than two in any other round all season.
"
But the player on the course that day was hardly recognisable compared to the golfer who confidently sauntered his way over the 18 on moving day. He hit seven birdies and chipped his way to par 10 times during a very solid round.
In fact, a bogey on the ninth was the lone blot on his copybook.
Spieth set the right tone early, making a great start after stepping onto the course alongside Spaniard Sergio Garcia. The pair thrilled the crowds with a birdie apiece to get going:
Spieth finished having moved himself into contention to complete the Grand Slam. Whether he can overcome the disaster that was Round 2 remains to be seen.
Still, golf writer Benjamin Everill feels that Spieth's attempt at a comeback deserves praise:
His resilience aside, Spieth still had to tussle at the top with an amateur.
Paul Dunne
If you're wondering how long it's been since an amateur won this open, here's the answer:
Why is that a relevant question? Because of the way Dunne showed no fear during the third round. The defiant 22-year-old was a model of efficiency, striking five birdies and the rest par over the first 13 holes.
A birdie on the 10th was a terrific way to start the back nine. At that point, young Irishman Dunne enjoyed the outright lead.
Perhaps predictably, Spieth had clawed things back, but even that couldn't detract from Dunne's play. He's now the player all eyes will be on for the rest of the third round.
A repeat of his heroics would be the story of Monday's session and likely make a piece of golfing history.
Outside of this trio, Johnson was struggling at times. He didn't hit a single par over the first nine and even registered a bogey on the seventh.
At this rate, Johnson will need a minor miracle to reverse his fortunes. He has to start on the back nine and keep his Open hopes alive heading into Monday's play.
