British Open 2015: Biggest Movers Going into the Weekend
A five-under round Friday made Adam Scott one of the biggest movers up the leaderboard heading into the weekend at the 2015 British Open.
Scott now sits at seven under through two rounds at St. Andrews—just two strokes off clubhouse leader Danny Willett and currently tied for third among all players.
Following his 67 on Friday morning, the 2013 Masters champion moved up 21 spots on the leaderboard after finishing two strokes under par a day earlier.

Scott's five birdies, without any bogeys, were the key ingredients. However, ESPN.com's Jason Sobel said it might just be that Steve Williams is caddying again for his old partner after a brief retirement:
Per Sobel, Scott said the following about his caddie, who joined up with him for last month's U.S. Open: "I was begging and pleading for him to come out there. Unfortunately I have to admit that."
The Australian has made a habit of being relevant in the United Kingdom—finishing in the top five in his last three British Opens.
Justin Ray of the Golf Channel told us not to be surprised by Scott's rise up the leaderboard:
For the second day in a row, the earlier tee times are proving to be beneficial. Dustin Johnson, the leader after Day 1, saw his lead evaporate before he even had the chance to tee off at 12:48 p.m. ET.
Willett has overtaken the top spot after shooting a three-under 69 to pull nine strokes under par going into the weekend.

The Englishman birdied the 18th hole to pull two shots clear of Johnson and four others at seven under.
Russell Henley had the biggest improvement in Day 2—shooting six under and moving up 90 spots to pull within five strokes of the lead. Despite a two-over first round, Henley avoided being cut from The Open's weekend with his 66 in the second round.
Kevin Na got off to a rough start Friday. He was at four over through his first eight holes and dropped 40 spots on the leaderboard while sitting at one under.
With a projected cut line of an even score, Bubba Watson's two-over round through four holes drops him to one stroke over par.
Tommy Fleetwood fell fast just a day removed from a three-under first round filled with five birdies. His Day 2 saw two bogeys, one double bogey and a four-over score that could cost him a weekend appearance in Scotland.
A three-hour-plus rain delay at the start of The Open's second round pushed all but two tee times back. The final group is scheduled to tee off at 2:27 p.m ET as much of Round 2 is expected to be completed Saturday morning.
Ian Poulter, through five holes so far, tweeted out this picture before his round:
Unfortunately, we won't know until Saturday how many players will make the cut and who will be sitting at the top of the leaderboard heading into the final two rounds this weekend.
For now? Danny Willett, the honor is all yours.
