AEW Dynamite Results, Winners, Live Grades, Reaction, Highlights After All Out 2025

Kevin BergeSep 24, 2025

The September 24 edition of AEW Dynamite from the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania focused on major fallout from All Elite Wrestling's latest pay-per-view All Out.

Kris Statlander pulled off the biggest upset win of the show, defeating "Timeless" Toni Storm to win the AEW Women's World Championship.

She wanted to be a fighting champion and put her title on the line on Dynamite against Mina Shirakawa.

The Conglomeration promised a special partner to help Mark Briscoe and Hologram against The Don Callis Family's Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita and Hechicero.

After Hangman Adam Page successfully defended the AEW Men's World Championship against Kyle Fletcher, he set an open challenge, answered by Lee Moriarty.

Ricochet talked his way into getting GOA a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Were Brody King and Bandido ready to defend the gold again?

Tony Khan promised his first "Important Announcement" in a while. What could he be ready to reveal?

This was just the beginning of a night hoping to live up to the excitement built from All Out's wild action and shock reveals.

World Tag Team Championship: Brodido (c) vs. GOA

1 of 7

Last Time in Action: Brodido successfully defended their title in a Fatal 4-Way ladder match; GOA and Ricochet defeated The Hurt Syndicate (Forbidden Door, September 20).

After an intense fight with Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona, Bandido fought through the best shots of GOA and got some late assistance from Brody King to hit the 21 Plex on Kaun to win.

No one is more in their bag right now than Bandido. He has delivered in the ring with every opportunity, and this was no exception.

This was better than the tournament bout between these two teams, especially helped by Bandido's wild energy. He was flying through this match.

It was certainly not time yet for Brodido to lose the gold, even if Bandido is a double champion. He was more than earned that double representative role with AEW and ROH.

Brody King has needed a run like this, and GOA looked great in defeat. It felt much more likely for Kaun and Liona to win the gold now than it would have been just a month back.

This alliance with The One and Only as The Demand is making them big stars quickly.

Result

Bandido and King def. Kaun and Liona by pinfall to retain the World Tag Team Championships.

Grade

A-

Notable Moments and Observations

  • Bandido requested the first shot at Liona, who did not take him seriously, but the luchador did not back down against either challenger.
  • Ricochet joined commentary to repeatedly explain how he taught GOA everything they know.
  • Bandido dodged Liona in the corner and danced the Macarena before running over members of GOA on his own.
  • Liona tossed King over the barricade. Aubrey Edwards checked on King while Ricochet tried to attack Bandido with a steel chair, but Aubrey caught him and threw him out.

AEW Men's World Championship: Hangman Adam Page (c) vs. Lee Moriarty

2 of 7

Last Time in Action: Hangman Adam Page retain his world title against Kyle Fletcher (Forbidden Door, September 20); Lee Moriarty lost the Technical Spectacle to Nigel McGuinness (Collision, August 16).

While Hangman Adam Page found himself in a dangerous position fighting The Apex of Combat with an injury, The Cowboy caught him with the Deadeye to retain his world title.

This was not the massive epic that Hangman had with Fletcher, but it was still another showing focused on his challenger over the champion himself.

Moriarty showed how easily he could counter most anything that Hangman could throw at him. He just was not able to sustain that offense through how hard the champion hits.

This should lead to more AEW opportunities for The Apex of Combat. While he occasionally works on the main shows, he mostly works ROH.

He has a chance to continue elevating his image by working more Pure Rules matches on Dynamite and Collision, hopefully matches he can win too to build AEW credibility.

This did not show who might step up to The Cowboy next, but there are plenty of opportunities, especially if Hangman wants to keep using an open challenge format to elevate the young talent base of AEW.

Result

Hangman def. Moriarty by pinfall to retain the AEW Men's World Championship.

Grade

B

Notable Moments and Observations

  • The Cowboy opened the show, praising The Protostar and calling The Apex of Combat the best in Pittsburgh.
  • AEW showed a hype vignette for Moriarty, highlighting ROH Pure Championship reign.
  • Hangman's neck was taped up from his match with Fletcher, and Moriarty heavily targeted the weakness.
  • Moriatry reversed the first attempt at the Deadeye into a tarantula.

Willow Nightingale Stands Up to FTR

3 of 7

After Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler and Stokely Hathaway disingenuously apologized for their actions, Willow Nightingale arrived to call Beth Copeland one of her inspirations, demanding they apologize sincerely.

Willow slapped Stokely in the face then "Speedball" Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight evened the odds before FTR could act. They sent FTR running.

This was a fun follow-up to the All Out post-match attack by FTR in an unexpected manner. Both Adam Copeland and Christian Cage were nowhere to be seen.

Meanwhile, Willow continues to do her part in pushing AEW toward considering intergender wrestling, teasing a showdown with FTR.

Assuming Beth will be back in action at some point, she and Willow are the rare women in AEW right now that could both stand up to FTR, maybe even fight them two-on-two.

There is plenty more drama to come in this story and pivoting the angle to JetSpeed also further keeps this angle hot as they are certain to have great matches with Dax and Cash.

Grade

B

Notable Moments and Observations

  • In the locker room after All Out, Copeland told Christian that he needed to go take care of his family first.
  • Stokely tried to convince the fans that he "let" Beth Spear him.
  • In his supposed apology, Dax explained that he did not intentionally piledrive Beth. It was an accident following a shot to his broken nose.
  • After All Out, MJF cut a promo while stuck with thumbtacks, promising to come back as the most dangerous version of himself.
  • Jack Perry narrated a vignette about the rebirth of Jurassic Express before AEW announced their return to tag team action next week.

The Don Callis Family vs. The Conglomeration

4 of 7

Last Time in Action: Kazuchika Okada retained the Unified Championship against Konosuke Takeshita and Máscara Dorada; Mark defeated MJF in a Tables 'N Tacks match; Hechicero and Josh Alexander lost in their big for the World Tag Team Championships; Hologram and Paragon def. The Frat House (Forbidden Door, September 20); Orange Cassidy lost a Fatal 4-Way No. 1 contender qualifier (Dynamite, March 19).

Don Callis tried to unveil his latest special Family painting, but Orange made his return by breaking through it. He followed Hologram and Mark Briscoe to the ring to start this match hot.

Afterward, Kyle Fletcher interrupted the celebration to put his TNT Championship against Hologram to threaten his perfect winning streak.

It is so good to see Freshly Squeezed back on TV where he belongs. His unique energy cannot be matched by anyone else in AEW.

He looked good in his first outing, though this was a showcase of all six men in the action. It was lightning fast throughout and sold The Conglomeration as a better team than The Don Callis Family.

Hologram continued his win streak, setting up a smart set-up to end that streak. Fletcher will deliver again next week, but he is not going to lose at this point.

This is a quiet set-up for the arrival of The Clone, who will likely cost Hologram his match in some fashion.

Result

Hologram, Orange and Mark def. Hechicero, Okada and Takeshita by pinfall.

Grade

B+

Notable Moments and Observations

  • Backstage, Mark again refused to reveal the mystery third man for The Conglomeration while obviously teasing Freshly Squeezed.
  • The Clone teases continued, promising his arrival "soon".
  • Mark, Hologram, and Orange all pulled out the corner punches. Hologram got a Spanish count while Orange only hit one like only he can.
  • Takeshita and Okada looked to be more on the same page on Dynamite, trying to team together.

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Powerhouse Hobbs

5 of 7

Last Time in Action: Powerhouse Hobbs and Samoa Joe defeated The WorkHorsemen (Forbidden Door, September 20); Claudio Castagnoli alongside The Death Riders and Young Bucks defeated The Opps and Brodido to win $500K (Dynamite, September 10).

Claudio Castagnoli found himself out-matched by the strength of Powerhouse Hobbs, but Pac helped distract Hobbs for a roll-up for three.

Afterward, Samoa Joe ran in before The Death Riders struck. Hangman Adam Page arrived to send Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta and Castagnoli running.

It is often more difficult for heavyweight bouts like this to keep up with the wild action AEW can deliver on the regular.

While the fans love a "meat match", this was not hard-hitting enough to truly keep up with the rest of the card for the night.

Still, the result was smart and set up an interesting dynamic. Will The Death Riders go back after the World Trios Championships? Could Castagnoli step up to Hangman next for the Men's World Championship?

Plenty of interesting match-ups are on the horizon, though hopefully Hangman can avoid another interference-filled title defense regardless of who in The Death Riders steps up.

Result

Castagnoli def. Hobbs by pinfall.

Grade

C-

Notable Moments and Observations

  • Castagnoli threw Hobbs over the barricade into the crowd early to take control.
  • The Swiss Superman teased a Neutralizer while pointing at Bryan Danielson, but Hobbs fought out and scoop slammed him.
  • Powerhouse kept bodyslamming Castagnoli in this match, counting well over double digits.
  • At ringside, Castagnoli demanded the referee raise his hand after the post-match brawl to remind everyone he won.

AEW Women's World Championship: Kris Statlander (c) vs. Mina Shirakawa

6 of 7

Last Time in Action: Statlander won the Women's World Championship by pinning "Timeless" Toni Storm in a Fatal 4-Way; Mina won alongside Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron and Queen Aminata in a Tornado Tailgate Brawl (Forbidden Door, September 20).

Tony Khan announced the introduction of the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championships, which Renee Paquette unveiled at ringside.

Mina Shirakawa wore down Kris Statlander with figure four leg-lock, almost making her submit, but the champion reversed into a seatbelt pin for the victory.

Afterward, The Death Riders arrived. Jon Moxley was the last to arrive and seemed pleased until Stat laid out Wheeler Yuta with a clothesline.

Stat and Harley Cameron ran out into the crowd before Stat threw up the double birds. Darby Allin then arrived with a flamethrower, sending the whole group running. He challenged Mox to an "I Quit" match.

It is so great to finally see Women's World Tag Team Championships in AEW. The women's division has set up a strong set of teams for months in anticipation of this announcement.

It would have been nice to accentuate this announcement with a larger showcase of AEW's women's division, but that will likely come with a more formal announcement of the title tournament to crown the first champs.

It is hard to say at this stage who will win the titles first, though Storm and Mina would be the favorites going in if The Timeless One returns soon.

The main event was fun, though it felt like Mina and Stat could have used at least another five minutes to sell the dramatics and possibility of a title change.

The aftermath more than made up for it though as Stat further emphasized that she is the true top babyface of AEW's women's division by turning down The Death Riders.

The slow build of this story made clear that anything could happen. It is still likely that some woman will join The Death Riders in the future, but this was not the night.

Allin got to stand tall in defiance of The Death Riders and set the first must-see bout for WrestleDream, promising something truly heinous in terms of brutality.

Result

Statlander def. Mina by pinfall to retain the AEW Women's World Championship.

Grade

A-

Notable Moments and Observations

  • Statlander and Harley celebrated the new champion's victory backstage, but Stat delivered a cryptic answer on her involvement with The Death Riders.
  • Mina admitted she had not heard from Toni since All Out, but she was fighting for herself and The Timeless One in the main event.
  • Yuta appeared before the match to speak to Stat.
  • Mina went after the right knee of Kris with heavy offense, playing on her past injury history.
  • Mox tripped over the steps due to the fear of the flamethrower.

Overall Show

7 of 7

All Out was a moment show elevated by strong consistent in-ring action.

The Dynamite after All Out was also a moment show elevated by strong consistent in-ring action.

While AEW cannot always deliver this many surprises in only a few days, this was a wild run of shows for the company.

Orange Cassidy's return, the announcement of the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championships and Kris Statlander turning against The Death Riders made for a dramatic show.

Add to this a night of multiple title matches that led into strong contests announced for next week's anniversary Dynamite, and AEW kept the train running strong.

In many ways, this felt like the AEW of old, but the players have changed. Everyone that appeared on this show though did their part to sell this as a hot product.

Only time will tell how long this hot streak continues, but when you move the AEW Women's World Championship from the hottest act in the women's division and somehow raise the status of the title even more, that is a very good sign.
